When I say I lift in the morning, I don’t literally mean first thing in the morning.
It’s usually about 3+ hours after I wake up. First thing is always a big meal with lots of carbs, then class for 2.5 hours then it’s off to the gym.

Yeah, but some people might have misinterpreted it. A lot of carbs in the morning make me so sluggish. I usually do high protein, minimal carbs, and some veggies. It makes me decently full.
i usually wake up in the morning, protein shake, make my breakfast rich in carbs, an hour later i take my supps and then work out 30mins after that. i’ve tried working out at all times of the day and thats definitely the time im the strongest
hi!
so i started dieting with really random( maybe once a week or right after i ate or drank alot of water. it might be this) sit ups and knee pushups since the standard is a bit too hard for me right now.
i am losing some fat around my arms and my face is less pudgy and loose, tightening around my chin.
but the thing is my stomach/waistline is the same and big as ever. i know i have more energy i can feel it. but its wird, should i just stick to it and try jogging every day?
may i ask what were your guys motivations you told yourself when losing weight?
also i started to feel a ball around the back of my neck. is this my posture unstraightening? tips for a straightening of your back so it could be normal again?
sorry for the trouble guys.
Summer is coming up here in Japan and I want to know if getting a 6-pack in 3 months w/o roids and having to go on a crazy diet? Right now I’m at about 6’2 - 195cm and 250pounds - 114 kilos.
I don’t know about that ball on your neck. But yeah you need to be consistent with your exercise and your diet. You can have cheat days or whatever, obviously the more strict you are the better the results.
As for motivation, I use alot of different things.
Back on topic: Been using Animal Test, GreenMAG, White Flood, and Purple Wraath for the past week.
I definitely feel bigger and my lifts have gone up dramatically. I have more energy through out my workouts and the CL products actually taste good, with the exception of the White Flood. Seriously it tastes fucking disgusting.
The Animal Test I thought was making me tired after the 4th day, but it may have been reacting with some medication that I’m taking.
Overall I’m really happy with these products. In a month or two when I run out, I have some SizeON and SuperPump250 on hand so I’ll give those a shot.
Scott Popular: I’m no abs guru, but I think its definitely possible. But I would think that having a strict diet is the key to getting those abs. Whats your diet looking like now? Lots of cardio will also be important.
How Strict? I live in Japan and I can’t escape rice and meat is expensive here. I don’t smoke. I rarely drink. But this diet shit has me vexed, I love food! Cheese and Greese for FTW! And is working out everyday a good thing or a bad thing?
I mean it really depends on how bad you want it. There was this guy I knew at the gym he was kind of a skinny guy with some decent muscle, but just straight up ridiculous abs. He always told me “great abs start in the kitchen.” You would definitely have to cut out the cheese and greese if you want a six pack. Once in a while is ok, but you’re gonna need lots of veggies, meats, complex carbs.
It really depends on what you are going to do. I would say doing weights everyday is a bad idea but cardio should probably be done everyday for what you’re trying to achieve.
Hope this helps.
Roids? Really? I don’t think Will Smith uses roids. And what is UNR?
Anyways, I’m pretty serious about wanting to be Will Smith in I Am Legend. IMO, that is the epitome of what a male body should look like and perform (he needed to fight them vampires)
Was it achieved mainly because of the muscle he already had, and he just slimmed down for the role? I wonder what his training regimen is.
Also, have any of you guys used supplements from Usana?
will smith seemed to be a lot bigger in I ROBOT. so maybe he just focused on hardcore cardio. well then again, he didnt look too big in pursuit of happyness which was after I ROBOT. so probably both hardcore workin out and cardio
Are chicken and turkey nutritionally equivalent? (eg. in protein)?

Welcome to SRK
Damn, after seeing pics of me lately I have gained weight, so I’ll be more into this thread. Since I’m in my mid-20’s, it’s gonna suck
You can reduce body fat by lifting if some of you guys aren’t into cardio. (though doing both would be optimal)
These articles are pretty good in helping to understand how to approach your goal(s).

Turkey’s leaner and has more protein.
My bad. My friend is always going on about UNS, so I must’ve mixed them up. :looney:
So what’s a good quality brand of whey to use? I notice on other boards, everybody who’s scrawny or doesn’t lift seriously (incidentally, I can’t find any boards where people are big…like “you can tell they work out” big. They all look like pre-teens) says Body Fortress…but if it’s sold at Wal-mart, how good could it be? I’m going to pick up some ON 100% today. (even though they want like 40 bucks for 5 lbs)
Thats what I get, the 10lb bags of ON 100% whey. Its not too bad tasting either.
Go to amazon, subscribe to “subscribe and save” and save 15%. Then just cancel subscription. I get ON 5lbs Chocolate for 33bux everytime!
