thanks to everyone for coming out, had a blast last night, but I’m going to have to start putting a hard cap on these though, since it went from like 10-12 peeps to like 20+. If you’ve been showing up to the last few of these then you’ll have priority over people who havn’t been coming. Would like to have like 9-10 peeps and 4 set_ups.
oh yeah bokkin, the reason there can be so much safe shit in SC2 is because of the GI system. A lot of stuff can be safe on block, but GI can stop people from abusing it if they become predictabe, since a well timed GI instantly changes momentum from the attacking player to the player getting rushed down.

I also agree with the decision to not run a tournament. It allows people to try out new stuff, and get in more games since they don’t have to worry about tournament matches.

dude the reason the laptop died was because I unplugged it when I hooked up the ps2, and who ever was playing didn’t realize it and let it die, then probably didn’t realize it was just because it was unplugged.
So I am going to change the format of this weekly due to the massive amount of peeps showing up and because Soul Calibur 2 is my favorite fighting game. Will be running 3-4 set-ups split between soul calibur 2 and street fighter 4 (ideally 2 of each). And it’s only going to be open to people who are getting down on Soul Calibur. Since Cole’s place is opening in march I don’t think there is really a need to hold big SF4 gatherings in my apartment anymore.
So if you want to come over tonight post up here so I can head count, or give me a call. Right now I think it’s - Nolan, Troy, Josh, Most likely David and Eric,
