Really want to get to a ratio of like 1 set-up per 2-3 people so we can do multiple matches in a row and peeps can really work on some shit. Where do I find info on computer set-ups? mainly I’m wondering how it would work with sticks? Cause I can just buy it off D2D and install it on mine and probably charlie’s laptops for two more set-ups.
Usually 360 sticks are just plug and play for the pc. If you want, pm me and I’ll give you my steam copy.
thanks a lot for hosting! im happy to be getting destroyed, i’m looking forward to stepping up. now i know what people mean when they talk about tournament readiness. it wasnt even a tournament and i was hella anxious about performing. i just gotta calm down and try to play my game.
PC’s support 360 sticks natively - but PS3 sticks are finicky and don’t always work.
I have a pretty mobile/handy comp that I might be bringing to Tournament Wars - so I can show you then. The only issue is that I am pretty sure for every new stick you have to change out the game, (SO It’s not a huge issue when we just leave the sticks on it, but in a tournament it may - I am still trying to get it figured out.

Could you guys start confirming attendance for this week and post whether you can bring a set-up. Want to get an idea how many people are coming and make sure we have as many set-ups as possible. Like if you have a set-up, then bring that shit cause the best improvement really comes from playing a bunch of game in a row vs the same person. 1 set-up per 2-3 people would be ideal.
I’m planning on making it and if I show up I will bring a setup - but I’ve also got a buddy that’s moving to CA and his going away party is on Thursday. So I’ll probably show up late at the worst, but just letting you know.
I’ll be there anywhere from 9:30-10pm with Garrick and Brandon.
Brandon will prolly bring his ps3 again and we’ll bring 2 ps3 sticks.

As far as a setup I’d like to bring an xbox, I’ve got a crappy 13" crt that is doing nothing but no sdtv cables, and I’ve got a monitor with speakers, but no VGA cable and no RCA to 3.5 mm cable.
If i get either problem figured out I’ll bring a setup.
May not make it tomorrow. I’m supposed to kick it with some non-sf friends. They want to go to gameworks, of all places.
