Good shit on the stream everyone. Great commentary. Was kicking myself that I didn’t take the time off of work to be there. I thought the stream was really well done with a lot of hype matches. Hope to see everyone at the monthlies on the 15th, should be a good time.

Might need to embargo those shout outs on commentary, Mike. Because it’s like you’re dressing MD/VA in someone else’s hand-me-downs sometimes, rather than just letting it occur naturally. There were some good ones, but I think giving a bad one and trying to run with it is pretty shameful. Much less giving several in a row.
Stream could use some overlays, basic stuff that comes when you’re given more prep time than one night. I know things will get better, but it’s just good to put it out there.
I liked Seth’s commentary a great deal. He did his homework, rugi had a lot of good match up experience to share also. Pulling players to speak after the match and such was good as well. Overall, I just liked how when things were just natural that the stream was very fun to listen and watch. I think that was my biggest problem with the shout outs thing… it doesn’t really represent the atmosphere of the event, just pandering to the chatroom instead of focusing on the fact that the STREAM is the attraction, not the Stream Chat.
Also, no more asking how many people are watching please.

Someone asked me to, so I did. And yeah, probably seems that way. The reality is that the Stream ain’t that serious though, but if I have to give an opinion that’s where I stand. As long as folks are playing, that’s what should matter. If you’re going to do it, you’ll want to at least do it right though. I know folks are working on some overlays, a nice banner, that sorta thing. If you feel things were fine, that’s cool. It’s not my show, I’m just watching.
