Seriously though, for all you Smash Parkers and Kwame Browns who have been banned and want to work your way back in, I’ll say this: some of you may never make it back in. That’s just the way it is. But if you think I’m wrong, my advice to you is find a place where there’s a good solid group of good tournament players and start practicing. We’re always accepting people and donations at Arcadia Dreamlab. Just know that it won’t be any easier there than it was at SHGLs. Wherever you go, you’ll be spending a lot of time, money, and anger to get back. For some people, the road back might be easier: For example, if you happen to be a Sagat player. (For the record, I wasn’t there last night and I don’t want to insult anyone, but if anyone picked Sagat and got banned, you need to either spend more than 5 minutes playing the game or quit altogether). That said, good luck to all of you, and remember that even Kwame Brown and Smash Parker had their moments:

i’m not a regular at shgls but i’m curious. how long does this go on? if there are usually 40 regulars and you ban 6 people every week, in a month and a half you’ll just end up with the station a and b players through natural selection, then what happens after that? can shgl be banned from his own house? or maybe shgl is secretly planning to ban everyone up to the point where he gets 1 on 1 alone time with valle :looney:

Oh, also just my 2 cents, I also agree anyone that bailed in fear of being banned should be banned. I’m guessing eventually you are gonna pick a week where the banning stops and just roll with the people you got, and you can’t have the people who have skirted ban weeks to roll in those weeks to get a free pass. Just my thoughts that is all.

seems that every week 6-7 spots out of the 40 are freed up for new players because the faggots that lose get banned. Doesnt seem like there’s a shortage of people wanting to hit up these sessions. the new format seems to be a way to weed out the casuals.
after a while, it seems that as this event got more and more popular/accessible, too many people were showing up; so now the new format is, in a sense, a form of population control.

Bitches need to bring setups, cause I don’t want to have to bring out my setup when I don’t even participate anymore. Last night there were 3 setups and the 3rd one arrived late, not quite sure think someone had to head back home to get it. Anyways thank you to the persons who did bring setups last night, but if you can bring a setup please bring it. Don’t assume that someone else will bring a setup for you, if you have the ability please do it. Each setup will cut the time of the tourneys down pretty significantly, and the faster the tourneys the more casuals(matches) you guys will get at the end and beginning of each night.
One night we had 8 setups or some shit like that so obviously there are people that can bring setups, I know it can be a pain but if you are committed to the event it should be worth it to you, remember free entry fee if you bring one as well.
Do what you gotta do Valle. Its the best way to breed champions.
