That’s Gunslinger style R1+Forward+O(RB+Forward+B on 360?), with Pandora equipped obviously.
Not sure what the hell it does besides knock Blitz “shields” down hella fast.
The damage it does depends on how full the Disaster meter is. At full, it did like 3 bars of life to Berial (Normal/Devil Hunter mode) if I recall correctly. The only other move effected by the Disaster meter is the rocket launching dome/ship thing. The higher the Disaster meter, the longer Dante can float in the air.

Actually, Grief (RB/R1+back+B/O) can also use the Disaster meter. If you hold B/O, the disc stays out until either the meter runs out or you release the button. Can’t remember if you can perform other actions. If so, should make for some great combos.
I completely forgot about Grief. I have never even used it yet.
Yeah, I haven’t used it much either. I’ll definitely revisit it once I’m done with beating each difficulty and focusing on maxed rankings.
Is anybody doing much with Lucifer? While it’s definitely the least orthodox of the Devil Arms, I’ve found it offers some good substitutes for key Swordmaster moves when in other styles. The basic jumping attack in particular is nice because it keeps you airborne.

Regarding Pandora, if you launch Grief and hold down O for the tracking, you can’t do anything else, unfortunately. But since it targets multiple enemies it does drive up your style points.
I tend to use Lucifer against the Knights. Their shields are a pain in the ass so I just stick a zillion swords in them, drop back and blow them up.

Seriously though, it made me sad when I had to switch. I like playing as Nero A LOT more. I don’t remember which person in this thread said to me “Oh once you get Dante you’ll think he’s awesome” back before it came out, but having played it now I can say with absolute confidence…
I still like Nero better.

Let’s just say I bought a PS3 and DMC4 so I have something to play during 360 repairs.
Luckily I did because my 360 is currently out for repair again.
i have decided that blitz > any boss in the game.
and since i never really played DMC3, i am TERRIBLE with dante, i just end up using stinger alot. i may go back and work on my dante skills. im just too reliant on devil bringer.
I’d recommend you go play DMC1 and 3. You’ll have much more of an appreciation for Dante.
