Million what I meant was Targeting Type 1-3 heh and yeah I’m currently using Type 1, fuck targeting Gladius and Cutlass though. Yeah Deth-Scyanyde Type 1 is the one you mentioned, targeting with the left stick.

I beat BP last night for the first time in 2:29 with an S ranking. I think Azrael was the one that said the floor with all the Bianco+Alto Angelos was fun and he was right, I almost died their though because I wasn’t really taking them seriously until I noticed I had less than half life left and I still didn’t see an end to them spawning lol. Dante in Royal Guard took like 80% of my health with a DT Royal Release, I really did not want to die on the last floor but Gun, Gun, Gun, Buster did the trick haha.

Going to give Dante a try once I get better with him, I always run out of time in the 30-40 floors.

allows me to charge and slash still. BTW i go through all of 10 missions learning Nero’s damn rev thing and then when i finally figure it out, now im Dante. Its like switching me from manual transmission to automatic, i keep on pulling left trigger as a habit.

So I’ve been going back trying to get S ranks on DMD Missions and decided to start working on Nero’s half of the game first but I’m having a hard time getting past Agnus+Gladius room without dying on Mission 6, any tips? My first time around I think I used a Gold Orb because I wanted to get DMD over with. I just need Missions 1 and 6 to finish up Nero, going to watch an S rank Mission 1 video because Gun+Gun+Gun+Buster isn’t going to cut it I think.

Alright, good news, and bad news, then more good news, and more bad news.

Good news: I finally got around to recording a Bloody Palace run.

Bad news: Two parts of the run, namely a part in the middle of the run (the levels after Echidna, going towards Credo, and some of the levels after that point) and the part I recorded with the last three levels of the BP, didn’t convert properly, so I won’t be able to put those up.

Good news: I have a friend helping me split the rest of the vids to ready them to put on YouTube. To that end, he’s already done so with part of it, so I’m waiting for him to send it to me later today. Stages 91-98, to be precise.

Bad news: The other two files are big since I recorded in 30 minute increments, so it might take a while for us to get the first two parts sorted out.

I could have done a lot better than I did in this run. I had to record at a friend’s and he was rushing me, as if he had something important he needed to do (which he didn’t), so I was all sorts of reckless. It also doesn’t help that his HDTV is unusually dark, which threw off my perception in some levels (I’m legally blind, so yeah).

I’ll put up what I have, though. My friend is supposed to be loaning me his laptop, so I’ll be able to record from home this time. Should result in a much better run overall.

I finally got S on all DMD Missions last night. Mission 18 and 11 took me a while to get but I managed to get 6 first try after not trying it since my last post haha. :woot:

Hell and Hell mode does not look fun, no Leaderboards and your score is not kept in your Total Ranking either. I might just use super characters to get it over with fast and easy.

Damn. That was crazy. I’m seeing a few moves with DT’s Nero that I didn’t know were possible.

Can someone explain Max-Exceed to me? I don’t understand how it works. What is it and how does it work? I never dove in that deeply into the game and I’d like to take advantage of this move now that I’m starting Son of Sparda mode.

It’s Max-Act, not Exceed. Thanks for the correction. So just hit the exceed button as I’m attacking. What am I looking for to tell me it’s been done correctly? Unfortunately your video on Youtube is badly pixelated so it’s hard to tell.

Someone linked a youtube video a while back that showed Dante beating Berial a using a single Gilgamesh/Divine Dragon. It was sick. The hit did like 80% damage if I remember right. :looney:
