They aren’t bounding off the floor…they’re bouncing off the floor. XD But, seriously, characters actually become bounded to the floor, stuck in a floor related float. A bounding move binds characters to the floor, attaching them to the floor for a new combo. A bound move used after a bound in the same combo spikes characters straight to the floor, with no chance for more hits, generally. The terminology makes sense, eventually.
but like… one definition of bound is an intransitive verb where something rebounds or bounces.
If one were bound as in “binded” to the floor, they wouldn’t leave the floor, y’know?
Bound makes sense, bind doesn’t. I guess the spike thing doesn’t necessarily have to be a bound, just anything that sends them downward.
Can you quick recover a spiking move? If not, maybe that’s the definition of a spike. A move that “untechably knocks down” in street fighter terms.
Anyway, yeah, bind is dumb.

yes, wave dash still exists. its not as buff as in tekken tag, but its still one of the most advanced things u can do in tekken.

Yeah I totally read about Bob having one in TZ simply because he has a crouch dash. Although I haven’t been able to be consistent with it since TTT.
