I’m modding my custom stick tonight for 360 since no one really comes over to play on DC for ST that often, but it’s with quick disconnects so I can easily swap the PCB out for DC again. I actually will be learning marvel, ever so gradually. Like I said I don’t care about actually beating any Seattle people or not, though I know I will be doing better if I can even beat Pablo’s low tier team once (which I haven’t been able to do yet. :sad: )

I guarantee that I’ll be home by 5PM. If you want to show up earlier, call me or post up and we’ll see if something could be worked out. However, it probably would’ve been better to get this stuff settled the night before.
Regarding the silliness in the now closed Gameworks thread, I’d like to see everyone who said ANYTHING to show up at my place later tonight. I honestly believe that people feel alienated from each other when exchanging ideas over an anonymous and disassociated medium such as internet message boards. When certain people are not in the immediate physical proximity with their conversational counterpart, they tend to feel that what they say carries no threat of retribution. They also make less of an effort to recognize value in others’ opinions. We don’t get stronger as a scene–nor as individual players–by trading shots via text. We get better by playing games together.
Talk alone doesn’t degrade a scene. On the other hand, not making the effort to get to know the other players in the scene and not playing together [when you are able to do so], can be disastrous. Long story short, just show up, play some games, and chill. I’m sure that once everyone gets in the same room, all that shit fades.
Josh, Paul, Jamie, Mandel, Preppy, Mike, Brent and everyone else, I’d be honored if you’d show up for games here. We play video games. We not gangsta.
