Okay here’s my list and I require that you answer everything truthfully.

-What do you feel is the most adequate temperature for an uncharted planet?
-What does your sig mean?
-Do you go partying? What clubs do you like to frequent?
-If I were to say “Hey Axel, let’s go to Sushiland my dude!” would you be down to go? (Serious question mind you)
-A longtime ago you taught me how to do short short xx flash kick/super with Guile, and unfortunately I forgot, so how do you do that?
-Why is it that we live in neighboring cities, yet we never play each other in ST?
-Horoscope? Favorite Foods? ASL?

I’ve been playing on GGPO/2DF in the evenings… been too lazy to show up anywhere else though.

-Uncharted planet? Shit man, something like 70 degrees I guess? that’s how warm my house usually is, and it’s pretty comfy

-It’s from Earthbound, you better play that shit right now or I will not respect you (just kidding)

-Not really a big partier, not even old enough to drink yet :shake:

-I don’t know where Sushiland is, but of course! Speaking of sushi places, there’s one of those conveyor belt sushi places at the new southcenter, looks pretty bomb. In fact, there are like three new sushi places there, along with like 15 other asian restaurants, what’s up with that?

-I think I made a post about it on s-t.net, but I will explain it again:
First just practice the crossup short into three crouching shorts, and make sure you get a 4 hit combo with them. Then instead of the last short, put the joystick to up and tap short then forward almost immediately after, and it should cancel the short before it comes out into the flash kick. For super, just do the same thing but do the super motion instead (duh), I find using the shortcut input a lot easier to link with (db, df, ub + K)

-I honestly didn’t even know we lived in neighboring cities, where do you live?

-Taurus: "Obey your gut instinct today when it tells you to avoid something in your routine. Though all your instincts are screaming at you to slow down and be careful, you just can’t help but gallop recklessly through the day’s activities. You can figure it all out later."
If we’re talking Chinese zodiac, I was born on the year of the dragon: “That project you’ve been laboriously working on looks to finally be bearing fruit! Further, you should expect good returns from your investments. Celebrate your persistence and professional success by taking some ‘you’ time. Maybe even hit the town because today’s your day to glitter and shine!”
(via yahoo astrology)

-Favorite foods are: french fries, chicken katsu, and soup (i fuckin love soup)

-13/f/ca

We should have an all day event, where we get to hang out with axel. No games, just straight thuggish ruggish activities.

BTW all you guys are making me look bad on GGPO because people keep asking about the “famous seattle ST players”… and I keep telling them you’ll eventually get on. Yes you guys are all actually semi famous with all the s-t.net and zach’s tournaments, and portland/seattle majors and stuff… so you should go meet people.

edit: ST tournament on ggpo tonight at 9pm. Log on!

thats so classy

Yeah right! I bet Axel’s the only popular one besides you because he has his own website. Actually Julian too because he actually looks like Balrog in real life.

In all seriousness though, that’s dope. Someday I’ll get on GGPO. I promise. I’m thinking though, that we might be famous for all the wrong reasons heh.

If I didn’t have to align my joystick wire to one exact position to make my stick work, I’d play in that tournament tonight :frowning:

I’ll see what I can do about it when I get home

All I would play on GGPO is gief. No wack ass DP motions, 360s ALL DAY.

I’ll be making it to Keiths late, like sometime after 11:30-12, but I’ll be there, so thats my rsvp. Anything I should bring?

A tv for ST, marvelz all day!

Everyone who plans on showing up at my place for games on Saturday should let me know, preferably via PMs. I’m not sure when I’m getting home on Saturday (regardless of whether I attend Preppy’s), so I think I’ll PM everyone who’s interested with a start time when I figure that out. Posting here has proven ineffective in the past, as some people just miss it.* Making a new thread for a single gaming session just doesn’t seem right to me. Far too narcissistic, even for me.

If you’re not gonna be near a computer for the duration of Saturday, feel free to just call me when you’re free. And if it’s cool, come on down.

*Blake’s missed sessions at my place on more than one occasion because he just didn’t see the post for days.

I got Blake. Someone notify Evan and Nolan because I need some evo training for marvel.

If I got the time tomorrow–and if Evan hasn’t posted up–I’ll give Wentinel a call.

Nolan told me that he’ll be out of town this weekend. So we’ll be down at least 1 P360 from last time. Keep this in mind, people. Paul said that he’ll bring a TV, which will no doubt help. I am a little fearful of holding a session on the weekend. Experience has shown that far more random people who don’t RSVP will randomly pop up. If only the attendees knew about these freeloaders, people would bring more sticks, converters, systems, and TVs. I do so loath long rotations.

I freely admit that I’m low budget when it comes to gaming. To hell with owning 5 TVs, 5 systems, and infinite sticks, just so some random leech can show up to play Capcom Fighting Evolution or ST. People are welcomed to show up, game, get drunk, smoke, and pass out. But please don’t complain to me if you don’t bring anything and want to play some obscure game on the Atari 7800.

Actually, I did feel really bad for Paul last time. Driving all that distance when none of the 12 or so people here wanted to play ST. Mind you, no one was hating on ST. It’s just that no one wanted to play that game when we could all have multiple Marvel rotations going instead.

Marvel has that effect on people. This is nothing new.

Keith, I have Saturday off and a guaranteed ride from Pablo, so I will definitely attend for sure, just let me and Pablo know what is a good time to show up.

About “famous Seattle ST players”, I would imagine about 80% of that is sarcasm from oldschool people.

Axel, my current place is equally distant from the old one. Before you got on 167 to go to 405 North which is 5 exits. Now you go 167 to 405 South (2 exits) and then I-5 South (I believe 1 or 2 exits). If there is any difference, it’s INCREDIBLY negligeable. You really don’t have a good excuse for not coming over more.

Alex, beautiful finish to your tournament match! Alex blocked 3 hits of a DJ supercombo, and countersupered with Guile after hit 3. Very nice! I like.

Keith,

Would you mind using your claw against my gief? Yes, I am being serious. I need evo practice.

Thanks.

I posted this months ago. I think last year even. Why haven’t we done this yet?!

haha thank you :woot:

you got me hooked on these ggpo tournaments, I’m gonna enter as many as I can until evo
