I should’ve set up a gathering tonight.
This entire weekend is pretty booked for me. If you’re really desperate to pick up your parcel prior to Friday’s tournament, I can be home tomorrow (Saturday) between 7:30 and 9PM. Other than that, I can’t really be certain of anything. Are you busy both Wednesday AND Thursday during the day? Because I can presently game anytime between 5AM and 9PM on those days.

I’m sure that’s fine. However, I’m starting to think that your av wasn’t the problem. The text box is still not displaying properly. Perhaps I should hit up Wizard or the tech forums. The text box is also misaligned for some other groups. But it’s completely not visible for the NW ST social group.

Sorry for taking so long. You wouldn’t believe the problems I’ve had trying to upload these. For starters the audio is irreparably corrupted on one of the tapes. Secondly I had to install a program to get files more than 100mb on youtube. Then my Windows Movie maker software just “broke” and crashes everytime I try to import a video to edit, and the freeware software trials are unuseable also (2 minutes max, 15 day trials, etc).
I’ll most likely be spending all monday uploading videos and editing which is HUGELY TIME CONSUMING with my computer which is pretty crappy, and lack of HD space. I still have videos to catch up from 1/8, but I have most of it.
edit: Oh yeah, and I haven’t had my phone either since I left it at Mike’s house. Nate, what time are you free monday for me to drop off the cam?
P.S. in the future let’s not ever use Zach’s camera again if we can help it, it has weird blinking and just…doesn’t look right. Unless there is some kind of setting we can change.

I just got done watching those. The blinking was killin me.
I think you guys have to either turn up the framerate, or switch on the feature that certain cameras have for recording screens with limited framerate. The terminology currently eludes me. I’m sure Zach would know what it’s called. I’ve seen it thrown around in threads where people were preparing to lug their capture equipment to large scale events.
Thanks for upping the footage, Airthrow. The flickering was bringing on a seizure. So I stopped watching during the second or third game.

Yeah, it takes about twelve seconds to fix the scan rate. You can see this issue in the preview window when the camera is not configured correctly.
Just ask if you’re having problems. This is incredibly easy to sort out. :tup:
The frame rate problem is youtube’s fault, on my computer the file has an alright frame rate, the problem is with the flashing sync rate for the TV, and then for some reason this weird shadow creeps over the screen that is some weird artifact thing.
I didn’t know you could change settings, could you show me when I’m at your place next time? Thx man. :nunchuck:
I dunno how, but I tried just now and after a few weeks of being broken, my Movie Maker is working again…weird.

Everyone can post in the NW ST group, and have always been able to do so. The only catch is that people, in the words of MrWizard, “stop using crappy ass firefox.” I guess FF suffers from rendering issues with the code. I was able to post just now with IE, but the text box ended up being really small, and on the far right side of the screen. Still, it’s better than nothing. Never tried Opera before, so someone else can report on how that works with SRK’s social groups.
Tournament this Friday. Start laying smack for no reason. I hereby challenge Alex and Julian to $500 money matches in MvC2. I’ll let you guys kill my first character for free (provided that they do so within the first 15 ticks of the game clock so that I don’t lose by timeout), and keep the meter that you gained from doing so.
You might as well let them kill two characters if you’re actually trying to be fair. 
I think he’s trying to parody my money matching people weaker than myself in ST or something, but I also money match Axels multiple times, too…

I have no clue what good the social group feature serves. At present, all that you can do is post messages. And the messages are viewable by non-members to boot. I mean, any number of people could just start a thread to relay messages and it would serve the same purpose. The only benefit would be that if a group were moderated, you could keep certain undesirables from posting. But that’s just plain elitist. It’s un-American. Kinda like not playing Marvel.
That said, since no one’s bothering to read the NW ST social group messages, I’ll restated it here. I’m considering attending Preppy’s this Friday. Pablo, are you and Brian going to be trucking up there? Julian, since you have the day off, you want to get warm up games in at my place beforehand? If so, I could hitch a ride with you to Preppy’s and ride back with the minorities. I could really use the games, since I haven’t played ST in weeks. I also haven’t touched MvC2 since Winter Showdown. So the MM offers to Blake and Kelly stand.
Keith, most likely that is going to be okay. I will get back to you on what time I can be at your house though.
