If Udon puts as much effort into staying true to Street Fighter as they do in their comics, I think the game is going to come out great.

Remix mode will be my SF4.
Well my whole thing is, what’s the point of playing regular ST if Remix mode is being made to be the standard? I wanted to get good at regular ST, not a different version. I think remix mode is basically gonna erase the value of hard earned victories (like Ryu vs Sim for example).

As if Fei Long with a half circle chicken kick isn’t gross enough, WTF is with hcf, b motion instead of 360? lol. I have faith in the game, moreso than SF4, and I’m keeping an open mind, but I still think the motions should just have more lax on the input, not make them abuseably easy. Fei is either gonna lose his priority/awesomeness with chicken kick, or it’s just gonna be too good and easy to use. I dunno. Pisses me off because I’m finally getting the slow speed of that hcf-u/f motion. :lol: Whatever.
The only reason I’m going to play remix mode is because of Evo
I understand we’re probably going to start having remix tournaments, but I think we should keep having classic tournaments too
I just don’t like seeing all the time I’ve spent playing and learning all my tough matchups to go to waste

So then what I heard about Remix being the standard isn’t a rumor then? Upsetting. I don’t see how it can be the standard when the Japanese scene is based in the arcade (which I bet won’t be getting an arcade remix version). Hella ugly. But I definitely, wholeheartedly agree with how you feel about the matchups thing. The whole past what, year or so we’ve been playing ST, goes down the drain if remix mode is the standard. I think the fact that there are no old characters in remix mode, is nasty too.
so now that random select is over, what do people think of making FACTORY FAST the tournament standard?

I think we should go with whatever speed we’ve been playing on. I can’t really tell the difference in speeds for whatever reason.
I think that long story short Japanese Turbo 3 is equivalent to our Turbo 2 so the suggestion is we take our game speed down one setting. :wonder:

I played against the ST computer and got beat up a while ago. I got cross-up jab head butt comboed by honda. twice. Does higher difficulty affect damage, by any chance? Chun Li’s fireballs do almost no damage at all against the CPU.
