One thing people don’t realize is Nate is like a brother to me. He let me stay at his house when I had NO PLACE TO GO and also came with me to help me get my stuff to move out of my apartment when I thought I was gonna get jumped by samoans. I would take a bullet for the guy willingly, and I don’t say that shit lightly.
So yeah I gave him a 0.2 second congratulatory hug because he was beating all manner of ass in the tournament. I look up to Nate in Super Turbo a lot.
Can we go back to having fun and playing games now instead of this gradeschool bully shit?

For real though, I was impressed with the level of skill. Where was that the last time we came up? Next time PDX comes up I’ll try to bring Ray and Anthony. If we can all make it up together, we should set up a Seattle vs Portland match.
As for all this drama, I just want to make sure everyone stays cool. We’re all friends, and Street Fighter is great because if you’ve got something to prove, you’ll get your chance. With that said, on with the shit talking.
when you said what you said as it happened, i figured you were just being random and therefore i thought nothing of it. all night you were being you and i didnt bother me one bit. it still doesnt, really…but we are talking about stuff that happened roughly 48 hours ago. and i say “you were being you” without really knowing you beforehand but you assured the other 17 ST tourney participants that you were just letting your mouth run because you were at the moment in a different area code. again, if anything, you were entertaining. you should take into account that you may have just overwhelmed a few people, more than likely those who dont know you.
I’ve finally found out who the most entertaining ST player is. After Julian’s incredible display of KOF entertainment last Friday, I embarked on a personal mission to find out who would make me laugh hysterically during ST matches. Alas, I found it was none other than Alex. Good shit man.
Good matches to everyone that was at Julien’s tonight. I had a lot of fun, I think I’m starting to understand shit more and more now. I just need some more sessions like the one we had today and I should be fine. Ken is my secondary ya’ll, he’s way too fun and besides I don’t wanna be the 3rd Ryu player around here, and O.Sagat has bomb combos, but that kinda means you have to be jumping at them or have them dizzy which is kinda gay. I can’t help but feel there’s something crucial missing from my Chun/Ken/overall ST game. Guess it’s experience heh.

being broke prevented me from coming down more often before, now working 3 jobs prevents me now…so believe me when i say i really want to come down if for more than to just hang out.
I am sort of wanting to use Dictator, simply because I like using him in cvs2, and he has a pimptastic purple outfit. However, the lack of projectiles scare me.
I would like to head down to Portland, but I’ve already taken a ton of time off(injury, family) so if you guys are down for a trip maybe I could go depending when.
Fool, I called you a loooong time ago saying I was in Auburn (south of Seattle) and we talked for a while about KOF stuff, this was even back before I started playing ST (which sadly is my main game now).
I fucking love Portland so I’d definitely come down, but I need to have a free weekend/car insurance and stuff…and BTW I suck at KOF now cus I only play ST, but I can probably pick it up if I have a few weeks notice to practice combos.
