I think people are just scared when they see white. It’s understandable. Where I am is not all that bad. There’s half an inch of powder, but it’s dry and there’s no ice yet. But if people are showing up for games today, I would still recommend that you park on the street by the mailboxes so that you don’t have to deal with the incline should ice gather. Once again, I’ll post by 9AM if things are really awful and games are canceled.
I’m running out to the office to shut things down. If you don’t see me post again, I was killed by a Christian driver who doesn’t believe in gravity or the coefficient of friction. If not back, avenge death.

Well I can’t get to work b/c of snow and I can’t seem to connect to work remotely either… so if anyone on the seattle side (I am NOT going to bellevue) is up for games I’m up. Pablos, or if that’s going to be only marvel I can host for HDR.
edit: Called keith and they don’t have a 360 so no VF or HDR.

I think we are better off staying home. You coming here, or me going to your place would be tough. Keith’s is not so bad for me, but even then I am playing it safe. I know, not characteristic of someone as fearless as myself. I know my limits, and the limits of Seattle drivers. I can play peeps online later in HDR after I watch some blu ray movies.

I got about 1/2 mile from Redmond, bus pulled off at Overlake Transit Center (stop before mine), tried to pull out, jack-knifed. He spent about 40 minutes trying to straighten the thing out…all he ended up doing is block the TC exit ramp to 520.
Another bus came up and tried to get by em, munched into his front corner with his side. Lodged lol. 4 other buses were stuck behind those ones. I called my boss, told em I tried, boss told me they just shut down 520 east of where I was before Redmond. Day off, Booyah. So…
I cross 520 on an overpass to catch the 545 back to Seattle…notice there is no traffic whatsoever heading west…an hour later a 545 shows. Everyone is like HELL YEAH. We get on, bus tries to pull out…jack-knifes INTO THE BUS SHELTER. I cannot make this shit up. Luckily the driver was top-teir and got us straightened somewhow (lot of grinding metal noises) and on our way.
Short story long- took about an hour to get back to Seattle to find the bus I take to my apt hasn’t been running so I have to hike it home from GWish.
Left my apt at 550, got home at 11.
Blizzard 08, please believe. I saw at least 3 cars going sideways down hills downtown.

As for the snow, my plan of dropping of resumes at respective business around Seattle is shot, and I left all my snow gear at my girlfriends yesterday, thinking I would at least be able to get to her house (not happening). So I think I am going to start playing FF12, play some Go and tell myself that I will start on a book like an educated person would.
