It’s not that you need it, it’s like doubling your chances of links for free. Why not. Especially for one frame links, like why not make sure you land it?
Cause you could just attempt an unnecessary medical procedure at an exorbitant price which would allow you to become a certain ethnicity (which is probably what you realllly want deep down) and you’ll be able to do these same combos that you would otherwise have to use a technique with a gross anus term called PLINKING to achieve.
Seems like a good idea to me.

I’m guessing the hype over this technique is that you can use 2 fingers on 2 buttons, instead of just rapid firing on one button or using 2 on 1 button…at least I find it easier than double tapping

This allows for two identical inputs on two consecutive frames, while double tapping on two consecutive frames would just register as a held button.

I have been playing some hella gross matches just holding TAP until the 50 second mark, and they are going suprisingly well. 
Of course not, the only real technique you need is Yomi.

I personally don’t like the term P-linking or plinking, come up with a tighter name please!
Case in point: bison’s custom in cvs 2 is called by many “paint the fence” imo that isn’t a tight name for that combo…kinda loses hat whole rawness behind it. I personaly call it the scrape combo, cause he literally is scraping your life away, and when you get mobbed on by someone you get scraped so yeah.
From here on out I’m calling P-linking PLINKO, cause I’m betting the timing on doing those button presses has the same rythem as a plinko chip falling down to the 10,000 slot (at least one can hope), that and who doesn’t love PLINKO!
