i had a vhs of “spider-man and his amazing friends” which were iceman and firestar. iron man had a cameo in it and he got socked in the face real tuff by the beetle. it was all kinds of terrible
Complications…eh? I can understand Johnny Storm just because he’s always engulfed in flames. Firestar just shoots fire, not so different from Dormammu or Super Skrull when they do their fire-based attacks. Well if you want to a nerd, Firestar, technically, generates and manipulates microwave radiation, which allows her to generate intense heat and flames.

If the rumor list holds true My team will be Wesker, Hsien Ko, and Dormammu or sub one of those out for Taskmaster. My team will be based purely on who looks the coolest at first.
Can’t wait to play. Need to pre order but I’m not sure where to preorder it. Do I get it shipped and get a cooler extra? Or do I get crappy stickers from gamestop, but get to play the game right away. Having the same issue with trying to decide where to pre order MK9. I want the reptile alt. but I also want the game immediately!

If any of you guys remember Gerald my buddy/ex-roommate, he will be running a retro gaming convention around May in Seattle across the street from the Neptune (forget the hotel name).
We will be running around 5 tournaments. I would really like to make this a regional, since lots of people from OR will be coming anyways. So far a lock in for tournies is Super Turbo (on DC), MvC3, and Tetris. I am heavily leaning towards KOF XIII if it is out by then, but that depends on the reception the game gets, and how much support the scene shows for it.
MvC3 is definitely in the lineup, so I hope it’s good.
I need to buy 2 copies of Marvel 3…argh!!! Gotta play on PS3 for my dominant console and 360 so I can play with actually skilled players.

i personally quit mvc2 early to play counterstrike so i didnt get that good, but i was good at every other one.
we will play vs as long as people come over and want to play mvc.

Anyone know where I can read up and compare what bonuses consumers get depending on where they pre-order MvC3 from? A Shuma t-shirt is alright. Stickers…not so hot. But if some place is offering Jill, Mega Man, Roll, or Tron figures as a part of their pre-order package, I’d definitely throw my money their way.
And while I’m sad that Mega Man and Roll did not appear to make the roster for MvC3, there’s always MvC4. Just wait 6 months for the next iteration. They’ll probably make each set of Mega Man 1-9 robot master colors a separate $5 DLC. Hey Capcom, if you take this idea, I want royalties.
