I’m quite possibly the only dude in the world who can only play MvC2 on Sanwa or any style JPN parts. Learning how to play Marvel on a Green Goblin stick on DC, and then going to the local arcade where they used Happ Competitions, I’ve always prefered looser throws on sticks and crazy sensitive buttons. Of course, that makes the buttons wear out faster, but still.
That being said, I agree with you. Madcatz is stupid for doing this. High-level Marvel is not to be played this way. I have always played Marvel on Hori sticks or sticks with Sanwa parts, and while I’m not in the majority, I know what they play on. And this is not it.
I’m not a marvel player but I can only play on japanese sticks. I can only play anything on japanese sticks. I don’t think I have the wrist strength to play on MAS sticks.

Marvel vs Capsom 2 out for Playstation Network for $7.50. Feels way better than the Xbox version to me.
Played DC marvel today. Now that is a real fighting game. If you guys give me some time I will start holding sessions again. Just need to figure out a schedule.
