Haha. I doubt it.
I mean - if they ‘caught’ you, would they suspend your account? Yeah, sure. Will they catch you? Or anybody, for that matter? Nope. The care package glitch is much harder to notice. And it won’t be showing up on peoples’ kill-cams, of course.
I’m almost at level 70, and I’m not sure if I want to go ‘prestige’ or not! One more custom class would actually be kind of handy… but it’s not super necessary… Meanwhile, losing all the sights I’ve earned sounds super obnoxious. I’m also not looking forward to re-earning perks. :S

i know xbox does ban accounts cus one of my friends got his for a month but not for glitching and prestige im not gonna unless i get really bored i dont think its really worth it
I went prestige mode a few days ago.
What you get: A new custom slot, a few new titles. But you lose all your weapons, attachments, perks, etc. It is kind of obnoxious. I certainly won’t be going prestige more than once. But now that I’ve got Cold Blooded again, it’s less bad. Dying over and over again to air support, when you can’t even do anything about it, is not much fun.
Grenade launcher + scavenger, on the other hand, can be ridiculous.

Yes, everything. It is just like when you started the first time, at level one.
So, I don’t know what happened, but I need to know the EXACT criteria for a ?Close Range? kill. I just did a match on Estate. Knifing. I did this so that I could get the last 10 kills to unlock Scrambler Pro for the 5000 exp. Here’s what happened: None of the kills counted.
Now, I don’t know about you guys, but I think a knife is pretty much as close range as you can get. Not a Throwing Knife. A knife. Melee attack.
I then went into a match using my Aug Hbar. Somehow, I got two kills that counted with that gun. I don’t understand what is going on.
Yeah, and how do people get the kills for Tactical Knife? Gawwwd. I’m pretty sure tac. knife is the ONLY reason you’d want to use a handgun, anyways. And knife kills don’t count as being done with your weapon, so if you want to unlock stuff, they have to be with bullets, not just running around, knifing. MSRBL
Marathon, lightweight, commando, run circles around dudes and magnum them in the face. I got 100 kills in about a day doing that, tactical knife is raw as fuck.
Use last stand to rack up handgun kills.
Well, I get the ‘run around and knife’ part. I just hate using the handguns for that, as I feel that shotgun is way, way better. Might try putting on last stand to level up my handguns, though… that’s the best reason I can think of to use one. Thanks.
In other news, I just saw the ‘wall rub’ glitch. AMAZING. Basically you hump a rock for about a minute. And then you are able to penetrate deeply into this rock. How deeply? Your whole body. You can blast others while you’re in the rock, they usually can’t blast back. Also, placing sentry guns inside walls and pillars. WOW.
I hope that all that stuff gets patched out. This game is already bordering on being too frustrating as it is.
Yeah, I hear you on that. It’s all “LOL ROCK HUMPING!” until you get fucking shot by some asshole buried in granite. Then it’s “FUCKING ROCK HUMPING BULLSHIT!”

Actually, Tac Knife kills DO count as kills for the pistol. It’s the only reason I got the M9 and USP almost maxed out in kills.
I can’t seem to get any last stand kills unless dude is reloading because no one ever stops shooting. Not even for a split second. People keep shooting even after the score pops up. Last stand is kinda pointless now.
That’s dandy, but unless NORMAL knife kills count as pistol kills, then it won’t help me UNLOCK the tac knife.
And I haven’t unlocked Last Stand (again) yet, so that’s that…
I even tried to see if split screen would let me unlock stuff (although it would have been tedious). Nope - they thought of that. Your local XP and unlocks are separate from your online XP and unlocks.
can use the default first recon class to tactical knife your way to an unlocked tactical knife for the magnum

I was a little confused about this point, but there is a reason. There are two issues. One is the above-mentioned, “normal knife kills don’t count as weapon kills” issue. But number two is that if you haven’t unlocked a weapon, then using that weapon doesn’t count towards unlocks, either. So I thought that using the standard classes wouldn’t count towards unlocking things for your custom classes. But that was just because I hadn’t unlocked the guns, yet.
Bah. They should let you earn kills towards locked weapons. I can’t see why not.
1.06 patch, as we all know, removes:
- The javelin glitch.
- Infinite care package glitch.
- Hiding inside of rocks.
I never got around to figuring out how the last of those three worked, but I guess I’m okay with that.
Oh, yeah. And I finally have a >1 kill/death ratio.
