C + F, I too don’t really see RR doing anything without Tron, with Wesker assist he really is getting too much except that King Servbot unblockable thing you pulled off, but that really is why I feel you aren’t doing much without Tron, but you have DW so I wouldn’t worry too much unless you truly want to.

I never said don’t try, I said it won’t be optimal. You did post it here haha. The main thing is, you will need SOME way of getting in with Tron. Like I said earlier, if it’s the team you want to run, you should run it, there’s obviously a lot of people who have proven they can win with oddball teams and if that’s your thing, then cool.
I never tried to antagonize you if that’s what you got from what I was saying, just discussing theoretical effectiveness. Tron has a problem getting in on a lot of characters and I don’t see how your team helps with that. She is great once she gets in and Cold Star will keep her there (and is absolutely fantastic for RR) so there is definite synergy there, but both characters could obviously be on much more optimal teams, which is my thing XD
Yeah well telling me to play Mags didn’t help lol I understand to be optimal I just like being optimal in different ways. Otherwise my back up is Vergil or even Zero. I feel as though with RR conventional means can’t be taken at times to use him at his fullest.
Initially you only said Rocket/Ammy and said you were looking for a third, I was making a suggestion there lol.

You did but by any means I can’t just pick up Magneto lol I wanted to but ROM loops are just so time consuming. I would pick Vergil but I’m iffy on him. Tron is my side project which she has synergy. Then again so does Vergil lol

Hey all. More or less just started playing UMvC3 (behind the curve FTW!) and am running Cap/Rocket (log trap)/Sent at the moment. I’m not a huge fan of Sent as far as PLAYING goes but his assist is so nice. Cap basically can get in for free between the two assists. Out side of that, I am also trying to get Viper/Rocket/??? to work. Just gotta keep tinkering I guess.

Yeah I had to sit down and think because as much as I like Tron with Raccoon. I want someone with a good AA or at least can rushdown and deal with zoning at the same time. So far I know I want part of the team to be Ammy (anchor) Raccoon (2nd) but I can’t find a good point character. Mind you I’m having an identity crisis with the game. It’s like only those two I want to play and I can’t find anyone who would be good for them.
Anyone with a good deal of air mobility and great mixups with cold star would fit that shell very well. It’s actually a very powerful RR shell, it especially helps if your point has a useful assist for RR after a Mad Hopper DHC.
If that’s the case I would guess Nova or Spencer possibly. Still trying to see who fits my playstyle lol
Actually Spencer is an interesting idea, hadn’t really considered him before but you can probably do some pretty disgusting stuff with log trap, just be aware people WILL want to air throw you so be ready for that.
Nova probably works although I know little about using him, only playing against him.
I’m using a team of Skrull/Frank/Rocket, but can’t decide whether to use the Spitfire or the Log Trap assist. Can anyone suggest which assist would be more useful for Skrull and Frank?
Yeah if you DHC into Mad Hopper and use his Slant Zipline it puts them into a standing position for mixups. the Horizontal one puts them into a hard knockdown lol With Tron Bonne I actually was able to link King Servbot like 2 times XD
Log Trap. Helps Frank Level up. I play him and RR together sometimes. You want Log cause of the wall bounce and it’s easier to combo off but that’s just me. Not to whore the assist though.
Putting RR last isn’t really helping when you need to level Frank up, Skrull can do that himself. Just bring Log trap if you’re not sure, Spitfire if you want to try it out. Remember, Spitfire is the secret amazing assist~!

Captain America/Dante/Rocket Raccoon. Shield throw + Logtrap goes incredibly well together. Although I like to change the character on point to Dormammu every so often. Any suggestions on a new point character who will make this team work better?
