i actually was number one 4 a couple weeks last summer (so it was actually on AE, not 2012) trading it back and forth with some japanese guy. id get #1, go to bed, get up, hes number #1, he goes to bed, i take #1 again. i thought it was pretty funny…until i dropped 1k BP. I AM LIVING PROOF THAT POINTS DONT MEAN SHIT…not that im terrible im pretty good but yeah those other guys are much better.

how are you able to win in ranked… i dont play ranked because of how hard it is to win with akuma, when i pick balrog its so easy , but akuma i get random’d out…
well my personal strategy is to knock the other opponents health down to zero. idk if it works for everyone but thats just my style more to the point, i just play the same as i do in endless. the lag sometimes plays a part (standard 1 frame lag). balrog is definitely better online cuz he can just mash jabs and get u with a throw. ull block or tech but the game says “hell no. u pressed the right buttons? FUCK U” same damn thing with ryu, walk up to him, tagged by fireball or c.mk that would be blocked offline. i usually get matched up with B rank players, but i try to fight top players when i can and the connection is green (case in point: wolfkrone last night). my akumas gud but it needs some fine tuning, especially with footsies, matchup knowledge, online timing, and maybe backdashing once in a while.

its because volkanicakuma has character loyalty. he’s practicing bad matchups and good ones.
tbh that makes him more well rounded to go to tournies.
