Cause it’s right in this paragraph in the plot guide

Hmm, I’ll have to see if I can find where that came from. Honestly I don’t recall Capcom specifying who was older and who was younger, and the charts don’t indicate their age differences. Lemme do some digging…

EDIT: Found it, AAC confirms it in both of their entries. All’s cool.

So I can see now where you can guess that they’re five years apart, just like Guile and Ken.

Chun -Li anime trailer Sub

Not bad overall, but really messed up on a few parts, kind of like the first trailer subbed.

Do you think that Chun-Li trailer confirms those fights happened in SF2? If it does, then Sagat looks worse now than he did before this game came out. Ryu beats him AGAIN and he’s not even at SF3-level.

here’s a direct link to the Chun-li dub anime trailer.

I don’t think so, and I hope they don’t.

Ok it is know that Gouki is 48 during SSF2T , So he would be 49 in SF4. now with that out of the way it’s time to guess Gouken’s age.

1 If he’s one year older then Akuma he’s 50.

2 If he’s 2 years old then akuma he’s 51 .

3 If he’s 3 years old then Akuma he’s 52.

4 if he’s 4 years old then Akuma he’s 53.

5 if he’s 5 years old then Akuma he’s 54.

6 If he’s 6 years old then Akuma he’s 55.

7 If he’s 7 years old then Akuma he’s 56.

8 If he’s 8 years old then Akuma he’s 57.

9 If he’s 9 years old then Akuma he’s 58.

10 If he’s 10 years old then Akuma he’s 59.

On sale Thursday will be the SF4 Arcadia Extra mook, titled Street Fighter 4 Master Guide Note of the Fist. 168 pages long, 17 characters covered, I’m sure at least some Gouken & Seth stuff too. Gonna pass on the Rockman 9 OST to snag this instead. Cover pic here: http://www.capcom-fc.com/sf4/2008/09/post_62.html

Cool, gotta get that too.
Check out this guy, he’s really good:

Zangief’s is funny.

Gouken’ Fire ball is called the Gou Hadouken, yet it’s Blue not purple and he throws it with only one arm. could this be Gouken’s own non lethal version of the Gou Hadouken.

It’s pronounced the same as Gouki’s move, but written differently, different “gou”.

Gouki’s: powerful hadouken- ansatsuken skill maximizing SnH

Gouken’s: mighty hadouken- ansatsuken skill toned down with kikouhou (so to your question, yes)

The “gou” in their moves is the same kanji as the “gou” in their names.

Where did you guys see the name for Gouken’s Hadouken? Is his moves list available somewhere?

Famitsu’s got an article for him: http://www.famitsu.com/game/news/1218440_1124.html

Akuma’s English ending

Akuma: what is this feeling, yes the Stasu no hadou within him his awakened!

the next text is something about power and the last words are how dare you.

Gouken: you never learn will you Akuma?

Akuma Slience fool!

Akuma: raging demon

Akuma: you possed the power of nothingness ?

Akuma: interesting

Akuma: Let this be our fight to the death… The winner claims the cub here.

Is there any canon explanation for Gouken’s very different stance (from his students)? Is this his usual stance and why doesn’t he teach it to Ryu and Ken? Or is it too powerful?

Not that I know of.

Hey guys - I have Ryu’s and Guile’s endings on veoh!

http://www.veoh.com/users/Raiken05

Also got a fight of Ryu vs. Shin Gouki (CPU). He’s STILL no joke!

Ryu’s ending:

Ryu: I’ve returned from the tournament victorious, Master, but I still feel unfulfilled… I fought and overcame many powerful adversaries… some worthy, and honorable… others cruel and hateful. But I can’t escape the feeling that there are still tronger warriors left ahead of me to fight–that I have not yet been truly tested. I know in my heart that the ultimate battle is out there somewhere, waiting for me to find it. My soul will not be able to rest until I do, even if it takes the rest of my life… The fight is everything.

Guile’s ending:

Dicatator: You’re … much… stronger than before…

Guile: Do you remember me, Bison? Do you remember killing my friend Charlie?!

Dictator: If ou’ve come here for revenge, go ahead and finish me…

Guile: No… I’m not a murderer like you. Three days later…

Guile: Rest in peace, Charlie. I know now that revenge won’t bring you back. When I became obessesed with avenging your death, it consumed me and destroyed my family…

Julia: GUILE!

Guile: Julia? Julia: Shadaloo is gone–the fight is over. Please come home.

Guile: You… want me back? But I deserted you…

Chris: We love you, Daddy! If you’re ready to come back to us, we’re ready to forgive you.

Guile… No longer driven by revenge, Guile dedicates himself to a new purpose: to be the best husband and father he can be.

thanks dude. Wow guile’s ending change a little bit making his wife and daughter appear in a different senario.

This guile could be the winner of sf2? and beat the dummy bison…

and ryu could have been the same thing on his past SF2 endings.

can’t wait for chunli, bison, cammy, sagat and akuma endings.

Interesting. Now I’m beginning to get Udon’s words about “you’ll want to see what we did for each character” and “nothing that’ll turn the SF universe on its head.” And the script was changed after all.

Overseas changes: Ryu’s now bearing it all in front of his master’s grave, and Guile’s now spotted by his family in the cemetery 3 days later while letting it out in front of Charlie’s tombstone that he got himself out of the revenge trap.
