The big reason is that there are a lot of douche bags in this forum - members, not moderaters - and any and all storyline threads get negative reactions from them. So people come out and troll and give thread starters neg rep and it overall brings down the quality of any forum.

I don’t understand why exactly, if people don’t care about a thread then just freaking ignore it. But people around here don’t.

Short story is stuff like that tends to get moved around somewhere over here (like, why is this in the Fan Fiction forum… though at the very least we are free from trolls here for whatever reason) and / or locked. I’m not too sure what the solution is and I’m way too low on the mod chain to do something about it. :sad:

I agree with you on this stuff, Sano. When I joined SRK I put together a SFA3 speech translation guide (it was in either the general discussion thread or fighting game section I think)and it was not, and I mean NOT appreciated at all!

It’s an ongoing story and the writer, Grant Morrison tends to screw with people big time. He may not be alive, it can be a trick of sorts. The story itself is pretty crazy…

First two sentences are practically right out of his AAC entry. In any case, be wary of sentences starting with “appeared to be”; “appeared that” and what follows them: applicable for both Gouken and Vega. There’s more to be discovered than what’s at face value.

its the first time Guile thinks hes still alive even tho he was after revenge the whole time in sf2.
now comes sf4 and guile thinks nash is alive all of a sudden???

I’m thinking Guile’s grown delirious upon hearing from Chun-Li or something that their nightmare may be back to haunt them, and blindly reasons that if Vega’s not dead, Nash must not be as well. It’s strange because his profile indicates nothing of the sort though. Could be again an exclusive anime promo like the first, with no bearing to anything else.

Just you wait and see, Seth and his clones may turn out to be another Professor Sadler and his machinations.

IF Nash is alive, he’s not appearing in SFIV. Maybe in SFV as Shadow or something, but from what I know, there are no plans to have Nash appear. So you can safely assume he is still dead at least.

Also, who said Rose is dead?

Guile says in his ending in SFA3 that he thinks that Nash is still alive, too. (unless Capcom of America changed the translation, of course)

Of note is that even though it’s heavily implied as well as the logical deduction, Capcom never directly stated either Rose or Gen were dead to my knowledge.

What CoA did here was the same thing they did in Chun-Li’s Z2 ending: fill in the blanks when CoJ left them open.

the mission of guile according to his SF4 bio which one has been translated in here is about shadaloo not for searching nash/charlie being alive.

that ties on how the official talks on guile does not believe it same as how cammy heard on the radio which the goverment says about shadaloo being destroyed or something which she thinks they were trick the goverment and delta red.
