Why not?

In the ‘real’ world, there are divers from less civilized cultures who dive deep and hold their breath for a reasonably long time without any modern equipment.

I know, for example pearl divers, but 20 minutes? I thought about and well, I think what you need the O2 for the first is your brain and Sagat’s brain is not bigger than anybody else brain. On the other hand his lungs are probably a lot bigger than other people’s and if you add that his lungs are probably elarged by training and that he’s also training diving he could get up to maybe 14 or 15 minutes. But 20? Maybe it’s like Gouki being able to split mountains and stuff.
“less civilized”?

Hey if CFJ has separate endings for every character I might even buy it, seriously.

I’d defenitely buy Ryu Final.

Where’s that attached pic from? It shows SFZ2 characters + Karin in Sakura’s uniform. Must be from a time between SFZ2+3.

Nah man, but i’ve heard about it. Is it from Sakura Ganbaru?? That picture is SICK!

I’ve never seen that pick either, vasili10. It’s not in the Sakura Manga 2 Volume Compilations if memory serves.

I strongly doubt Studio Udon will translate Masahiko Nakahira’s Mangas.

A) The secret project they are working on will take one month. I doubt a month is enough time.

B) The Company that put those Mangas out no longer exists and the rights for them are in limbo. The new Sakura Manga where she fought Kyo appeared in a Shonen Jump book of all places… Arcadia NEEDS to get the rights to re-release these books since they are like the new Gamest(But Gamest was a much better Magazine IMHO) before anything can happen. I suppose Shonen Jump can pick up the rights too, though getting the rights from a company that doesn’t exist is not an easy thing.

C) Why would a company bother doing it? “Game On! USA” which ran Masahiko Nakahira’s Cammy Manga flopped, the Cammy Manga sold seperatly also flopped. Every other SF Manga released in the US flopped. By the numbers, it looks like something only the hardcore would buy.

I want a translated Ryu Final more than anybody, but I just don’t see it happening right now.

Anyway, it is the front and back cover layout of the Sakura Ganbaru! new edition released for the 15th anniversary combining both volumes in one. I just like it because it shows in color the characters that were otherwise B/W throughout the manga. This book’s 408 pages, so it has a little more than just the two original volumes of the manga. It’s published by Shueisha, the company that came up with Shonen Jump, it came out the beginning of this year, and it’s a bit pricy.

Here’s another liitle gift, possibly promo material before the book came out, I’m not sure:

Never seen that one either but with Jump putting out these books, there’s hope for a US Release yet! I’ll be E-Mailing Shonen Jump USA!

Nakahira Masahiko san has worked before with both Shogakukan to bring out Cammy Gaiden aka Super Street Fighter II Cammy (Viz Communications’ parent is Shogakukan also responsible for publishing the Fanbook) and now with Shueisha to re-release Sakura Ganbaru!. US Shonen Jump is a joint effort by Viz and Shueisha, so we’ll see if things may surface soon. See how things connect?

Does anyone have Cammy Gaiden? I was thinking maybe Wolfman’s profile from the fansite maybe came from there if not the drama cd; Nakahira did one with Karin at least.

I have it, what’s strange is that in the US Translation Wolfman is Cammy’s Boss (Looks like Cody with Glasses) and not the guy with one eye. Isn’t the guy with one eye supposed to be Wolfman?

Erik Ko’s gonna go to Gamefaqs to check out the Thread where the Rumor about Udon doing CFJ’s ending started. We’ll see how this pans out…

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection WILL come with Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie!!!

Hmmm. Odd that they’re throwing that in there. I have a feeling it’ll just be the old unsubbed 4:3 version sped up version (note for those who don’t know: there are more changes in the dubbed version of SF the anime movie from the original Jpn. version other than the music and Chun-Li’s shower scene) rather than a subbed version of the original movie. Oh well.

Originally they were going to leave the SF2 AM out of the US Version. I wonder if that’s the delay? The Game was supposed to come out today but it has been postponed until August 16. In the Japanese version that includes the Movie, I’ve been told that you can’t fast forward, rewind or pause, just watch the Movie. Chances are we’ll get an English G Rated Version like Ultima’s implying…

Not that Capcom USA needs an excuse to be late. They are ALWAYS LATE. Megaman Anniversary came out 2 Months late and was supposed to be released the same time as the GBA Version. Well, the GBA version has been postponed until the fall. Onimusha Blade Warriors came out on time though. Must of been a fluke.

Yes, and I don’t know why Nakahira made him with one eye. In all the art Wolfman has both eyes and a scar over and under the left, and nothing’s been mentioned about his eyes. Strange. In the translation I suspect Wolfman got flip-flopped for Watson. So do you have the original sano, or just the US translation like me?

Just a random question…

If M. Bison switching bodies in between SFA3 and SF2 isn’t stated in AAC, then where’s it stated?

I have the US Translation.

Erik Ko sen tme a Private Message regarding Udon drawing the endings in CFJ. He said it was just a rumor.

TiamatRoar, vasili10, Golden Dragon and Aerialgroove, check your PMs. I found a better scan of Gouki and the Kid that I sent to you. I’ll post it here when I get a free minute.

Here’s a better scan of the Gouki and the Kid drawing someone here asked me here about a while back. I’m pretty sure all the regular Posters here have seen this image, but this is for anybody else reading the Thread just in case.

Siegfried - Any chance of you adding Warzard/Red Earth to your list of Fighters on Fighter Mania?

Rats. :bluu: Does anyone have the Japanese? Not hugely important but just curious.

Golden Dragon- The reported transition of Vega’s bodies will hopefully be in Eternal if nothing’s said in AAC.
