I was playing with Cyrax today while making my way through story mode, I love his buzzsaw. I had a helluva time fighting Sektor though, he’d constantly punish any net and bomb setups with his teleport.

Cyrax’s human form is also boss.

Right now I’m stuck fighting Scorpion and Quan Chi with just Liu Kang, hard as hell. I think I need to turn down the difficulty if I wanna progress any further. I think I fight Goro after, and he’s always hard.

Also Sonya Blade is insane, she has a dive kick just like Yun! She can start combo’s off it, do it close to the ground, and everything, it is nuts.

Demo is worth a shot to practice the fundamentals at least I think, but I believe they toned down alot of the more ridiculous combo’s possible in the demo in the final version. I remember seeing alot of crazy stuff in Desk’s video. I hope he gets to doing some more vids of the game after he’s done breaking Marvel more.

you can learn everything there is about your characters, but for the most part, if you dont know how the other guys team works, and what their characters do, youre still going to get bodied. I plan on demonstrating the for you with excessive detail next time I see you.

Yea, though honestly there isn’t really any difference between picking different pilots. I still pick Jin though just because he’s Jin. You can probably find roms for it easily but I never found a translated one so I honestly don’t know what is going on in the game. I noticed this game has some stuff on it on shoryuken wiki. It seemed short and simple enough to understand.

@burak how is AH3? People keep talking about it and honestly from the gameplay vids it looks pretty fun. I don’t have a ps3 but if it ever dropped on xbox I might contemplate getting it (depending on how broke I am). Aesthetics aside, if I gave vanguard princess a shot, why not this game.:rofl:

I just watched a stream of Japanese players going at Mortal Kombat, really good stuff. Had a really nice Kung Lao and Noob-Saibot. Apparently they will be coming to EVO to play MK and MvC3.

Matt, there is news that the mk guide have bought has ALOT of the info wrong, according to moves damage, frames etc.

I think you need to email prima, and let them know and they will send you a revised guide in pdf format. That kinda sucks, since you bought the special edition guide and it basically lost it’s value now, due to the information being correct, since prima stupid assess decided to complete the guide before the game went gold.

Yeah I was reading about that. I knew there was something fishy with some commands being wrong and combo’s not working. I sent an e-mail to Prima to get the correct character reference card sheets that they are offering.

If only all fighting game guides could be as good as the MvC3 one.

the guide could have been MUCH better, but they decided to rush the guide, which I have no clue why, I mean this basically puts them in a bad light, and people will now rely on faqs more than ever.

Where as in marvel, bradygames took their time with the game and from what I’ve heard it was really good.

But i did notice something was up, when I tried to do some moves with shang, and they were comming out.
