This year’s EVO got me really back into AE for some reason. I’ve really been trying to level up with Yang in endless, and grind with Guile on Ranked. I think I’ve hit a skill plateau, where I seem to not be able to get better in this game. Either dropped combos (c.LP c.LP c.MP Sonic boom, shouldn’t be hard!), doing really stupid stuff (Zangief has U2. Do not jump. Do not jump. Why did I just jump and got ultra’d), or just flat out breaking bad habits (sweep is not safe on block, cannot stop using it), I don’t know what it is but I just can’t get better. It’s kinda frustrating.
I might start writing down notes after each match. I at least try to learn something new with every match (EX sideways condor dive from T.Hawk beats fireballs! Nearly all DPs go through fireballs so knockdowns should be spaced properly! Guile vs Guile is boring as hell!), so maybe reading notes would make me a better player.
Also, waiting on that 3S patch, so maybe there would be more people playing, and therefore more people to tick-command throw with Alex.
