2, 3, and 6 are completely irrelevant to gameplay.

1 and 5 dont make any one game better than another.

4 is only meaningful to you because GG is some kind of holy fighting grail that you put on a pedastal. This goofy rose colored glasses thing your doing is bad, and needs to stop. GG is a good game/series. Thats it, no more, no less, and you sound like those losers that hate on every other game because its not SF 3rd strike.

7, 8, and 9 (and to a lesser extent most everything in that post) is basically you putting a lot of words on the screen and not really saying anything.

the fact is both games are flashy and both games have somewhat broken aspects to it. and when it all really comes down to it, its all personal preference on which broken aspects you are willing to accept and deal with and which aspects you arent.

At that point the only determination on whether you want to play the game is aesthetics, because to be quite honest, youre not really good enough at any fighting game to have opinions that strong about any of them.

All you have to say is ‘I dont like the looks/mechanics of marvel’ and leave it at that.

I could sit here and easily pick apart your argument and spend the time explaining to you why and how you’re wrong and how insulting you’re being.

The rest of the world will , but the US feels either too entitled or too insecure. In America the focus is winning, our top players are content with being on top , and don’t train for higher heights. The proof is in the mentality , when some Americans go to gods garden, shadowloo and get bodied, its all jokes , “we made it out first round” .The sponsoring movement hadn’t helped either, when ur not paying out of pocket , complacency can set in easy. In Japan and Korea the focus is getting stronger , which results in winning. That’s why they constantly come over here and win, and when they do come here and lose, they go home tight, and trying to focus.

I feel like I’m rambling but to cut it short , but until the mentality as a scene changes , we won’t surprass the other nations.

I’ll end it with this , In America Justin Wong has a bunch of fans and a few rivals , In Japan Daigo has a ton of rivals and few fans. They want to beat Daigo, not get his autograph

In all honesty, more American “pro” players should follow f-champs training mentality, if they actually want to be the best. His life consists of practicing at home, travelling to new places, playing the best players, and evaluating his performance. He’s on that pokemon grind.
