Sorry I couldn’t make it to arena last night, I had (and still have) a ballston of work to do. I’mma try and make it Wednesday for serious though. It’ll be a freals ranbat. If anyone has a second setup PLEASE BRING IT and maybe we’ll have time to actually do double elimination!

Can Buffalo roll up to one of your Ranbats? Then maybe do a team vs or double elim on the side for fun or small potatoes?
I’m also looking for an explanation of Grifter’s comments in the Buffalo thread? When did anyone from Roch ever play us, and when did we complain?
We’d love to play players in our region, let’s not get started off on the wrong foot based on rumors and misinformation.

I think Grifter was referring to the Gamestop Round 3 tourney here in Irondiquot, and the guy Chris and, I can’t seem to remember the other Dictator player’s name, played me (only Boxer player there). I’m not sure where the complaints came in, a bit lost on that.
As for coming up for ranBats, all are welcome. If we can get a 2nd setup we can definitely fit double eliminations in. Problem mainly being the time constraint we have Wednesday nights. I guess we could try moving to Arena51 but that wouldn’t be free. (I know, I’m cheap).

Dude we’d love to have you guys out here for some ranbat action! We’re well into the season but it’d still be fun (I’d totally be down for teams on the side). And wow haha, I didn’t think the rumors were ever serious, I’m surprised to see anything come out of it. There’s no hate for you guys here or anything like that, and I personally had fun meeting everyone at Rumble in the Tundra last fall. Getting together for some games would be a good time.
We meet on Wednesdays at 8pm at RIT and Sundays at 4pm at Arena 51! We usually have more time on Sundays and more access to setups. I’d gladly move the ranbats to Sunday if it means more people can make it-- lemme know if you guys are actually interested.

Moving the Ranbats to sundays could be a great Idea, since some of us (me) can’t make it to EGS on Wednesday.
I think that it’s good for all of us if people from Buffalo start to come to Arena 51 when they can (& viceversa). The exposure between the two communities will make us better players , because everybody got something unique to contribute to our journey of becoming better players. Also, more players = more tournaments, more money, and more competition. There is no losers here, we’re all winners when we bring communities together.
At what time is that tourney today? the guys at buffalo were asking for the time, but I wasn’t sure.

Yeah, and Arena has more setups and is generally more relaxed. I’m actually thinking of moving the ranbats to Saturday, since somehow there are way bigger turnouts on Saturday than on Sunday. I’mma see what everyone thinks next time we get together.
We decided not to go to the Syracuse tourney since a) none of us have PS3 sticks and b) it was too short notice to get a lot of our guys on board. D: There’s going to be another this coming Sat. at Arena 51 though, if anyone’s interested. It was originally scheduled for last week but it got pushed back, so yeah. I don’t have any of the details and I’m not sure if there’s even a thread for it-- hopefully that gets taken care of 'cause I dunno anything about it otherwise.
We’re also starting to meet more often, and it looks like Fridays at my place are becoming a regular thing as well. Unofficial, really, but it’s cool by me. As always, anyone who’s interested can hit me up in PM.

Yeah, definitely. I keep hearing about it but I’m not sure who’s organizing it or what. Doesn’t help that so many of our dudes have an aversion to SRK, or I guess just the internet in general. D:

Ya we play sf4 at every EGS meet at RIT. Unless they’re of no TVs and just watching dumb movies like mario brothers (I liked it… when i was like 12). Also, we have a tourney coming this Sunday (May 3rd) at Arena51. Calvin will be running it. I’m not too sure on details on price, but I’m sure Xbox360 and PS3 will both be available.
