Is there anyone that hasn’t given up/sold KOFXIII yet and has it for PS3? I need to practice up.
I got it for 360. If you want to play Saturday at cyberstorm I’m up for it. Though someone else needs to bring the console since I’m not gonna take my brother’s. I don’t even know if I’m decent because I never fought anyone who has taken the time to actually learn the game besides me (besides the laggy ass online), so I’m probably not gonna be that great.
I’m not sure if I could make Saturday. I’ll have to wait and see.

Im going to bring 2 of my large, lagless tube tvs to the tournament this weekend.
It sounds like I willing be winning Marvel as long as i play it sometime between now and then, and if I can beat tales.
also, rufus can do EX tornado and then two of those ballerina kicks, I think its HK or f HK, into either super or snake strike.
also, if anyone decides to play asuka, make sure to teach me everything you know.
Im stilll going to be focusing on Marvel, and to a lesser extent soul calibur tho.
Snowman: After seeing what Rufus could do in your hands… I was fucking salty. He gets retarded juggles off of random ass mindless dive kicks. He gets his regular combos off of fucked up random dive kicks + mashing target combos if you ever try to tech or jump. So fucking dumb. I played some dude in ranked who almost bodied my shit with that dumbshit. Oh well, I like my chars more so I won’t hop on that cheap shit… plus there’s already like 3 rufus’ in Roch (Cole, Quang, Snow), maybe more to come!
Gary: nah dude I just didn’t wanna team with someone who was gonna get me killed by raw tagging when you’re an inch away WAITING TO PUNISH WITH A HUGE FUCKING COMBO. And after realizing that’s the kind of teammate he was, if he was Snowman’s friend, they should have teamed.
Team modes are FUN. Singles modes are FUN.
Matt, like I said before, atm it seems like I’ve given up on KOFIII but I’m just not in the mood to try and play it and learn it on my own. I’ll play with you in person if there’s time and learn the game.
Is there a cyberstorm tourney featuring SFxT or AE2012 I don’t know about this saturday? If so, I’m game.

Yeah next time me and Dave should team on Snow and Pandora guy. Is he even in the area? Games got bogged down when he came on. The in-person 4P was better done and more fun than MK9 or even GG Isuka!

Part of my enjoyment of cross is that it’s feeling like the perfect rendition of a modern KoF game (for me).
- Team-based
- Projectile game exists, but aggression is favored
- Combos involve free-flowing air juggles and grabs (grapplers get a combo aspect)
- Tekken characters involve fireball evasion moves, air mobility, complex ground strings, counters, armored attacks, various KoF staples
- Big characters beautifully drawn (XIII’s art went backwards)
- Better input system, shorter combos, less strict timing (and thus grinding)
Just went and shelled out for SFxT at a game shop down the street. I couldn’t take it anymore. I tried to resist it. I knew exactly what I was getting myself into, but fffffffffffffffff.

GG Yannick. It was driving me nuts playing online and the game sounded almost mute with no sound effects.
After playing some more, I really don’t care for it so far. Alot of aspects to the game are flawed to me from a game design point of view, speed of the game is too slow for my tastes, and I’m still not a fan of the SF4 graphic style, especially with the heavily saturated colors that make some characters look worse than they should. Capcom’s DLC model for this game also has me shaking my head. I’m so burnt out and sick of SF4 as it is, I can barely stomach this game.
KOFXIII is probably the last true honest 2D fighting game of this generation, unless a miracle happens. I’d rather spend my time with SCV until VF5FS and TTT2 are released later this year, and after seeing Akira Yuki in DOA5… lol, got my attention, maybe Team Ninja can get it together without Itagaki.
