Winter Brawl report:
Team tournament was pretty quick. I ended up playing with RoyalFlush and some random Skrull player. We got peaced out immediately by the House of Crack team.
I was in Pool 1, pretty hard pool. Some notables: Justin, DMBrandon, KBrad, RoyalFlush, Steve J, NYC_Fab. I went 5-2. Was out of Winners from KBrad. Lost the match to anchor Trish after bodying his Dante and Vergil every game. Dropped shopping cart super after an air throw with Frank that woulda won me the match and sent me against Justin on stream. Lost to RoyalFlush off stream in the match before losers semis I think after playing like 20 games of casuals before team tournament. I won like 2/3 of the matches in casuals too… but w/e, 2-1 and it was pretty close every game.
Saturday night was pretty fun, ended up in LIJoe’s room playing casuals with him, EMP Remix, Predator, and Moons while we waited around to see what was gonna go down with Andre vs Desmond. Spent most of the rest of the night bullshitting with various ppl. Also played DJ Houshen for a while. He’s fucking ridiculous, that Felicia is so strong.
Made like 50 off of sidebets on the exhibition matches. I love Mike Infinite lol. Woulda turned around and bet it all on Noel against Unknown but not a single person in the venue liked Unknown lol. All in all, my first Philly tourney was pretty fucking awesome. I’d say not quite as good as Seasons Beatings but it was really a great time. I’m looking forward to going back for Summer Jam.

That sentenced owned me just now…i was ohhhh calibur/BB night at yannicks lemme get my sneakers…oh… thursday…
reminder- SC5 tourney in Buffalo PnT on Saturday, we WILL run Marvel on the side if we can get 8 or more players to sign up for it and if Rochester comes down, that’s pretty damn likely.
But for those of you trying Calibur, this will be good experience and tons of casual stations before and after to play people on.
