What are you talking about!? Vuvuzelas have been around for decades in the world of futbol. There pretty much a staple to the party observing the games. Pretty funny how people are just finding out about these now. Did it really take this long for the majority to watch a soccer game? 
I was pretty sure they were mainly popular in South Africa because of the company that makes them there, I donāt think theyāre popular in places like Europe, I could be wrong though.
Vuvuzelas are essentially a South African thing, but expect it to spread worldwide now haha :razz:
Also, did anyone notice youtube added a soccer ball icon next to the resolution setting? If you click it you get like a dozen vuvuvelas going wild. Now try watching the evo 2k9 finals and clicking on that. HYPE! :bgrin:
Iām not sure if theyāre called āVuvuzelasā everywhere else in the globe, but those things have been around for a long time. I remember wondering what that buzzing sound was when I was like 8 years old watching soccer games Regardless, good call on banning them. Listening to them on TV is one thing, but having some obnoxious dude obliterating my ear while Iām watching somebody play is another :xeye:
Iāve seen/heard them before in soccer and hockey games, but never en masse.
And there are quite a few players on the news who have spoken against themā¦
Man, Vuvuzlas been hype since the 86ā world cupā¦i was gonna bring some to give away. They would of been so hype, it should be un-banned for finals.
They are only annoying for those who are not use to them. Iāve brought vuvuzelas to dodger games, parties, graduations, etcā¦

Thereās a huge vuvuzela opposite my apartment. I canāt wait for the WC to be over. I live 2mins from one of the stadiums and all I hear all day are those goddamn horns. Vuvuzelaās @ EVO woulda been hilarious though, just to see the annoyed looks on the playersā faces :lol:
Vuvuzelas are fricking amazing, you have to blow it to actually find why its fun.
