Does Funtasia have MvC2? If so, how are the controls? If the controls are decent, are there people that regularly play there?
I’m not really looking for kick ass comp, I’d just like to have the option of facing human opponents. I would show up at the HUB, but I heard that the controls are suspect, plus the parking is a pain. I don’t want to take the bus to the UW as I did during my college years, since I’m more interested in a place that I could duck in quickly for an hour of games when I have the time.
Funtasia isn’t too far from where I live, and it has parking (from what I recall), so it would be the ideal locale should people actually find opponents there.
You mentioned the CvS2 cab being broken. I didn’t take that to mean that all controls at Funtasia were eff’ed. The first post in Preppy’s “where to play” thread mentioned an MvC2 cab, but I wasn’t sure whether it was still there, or what condition it was in.
Take it from me man…I used to go to high school right next to funtasia…my friends and me would skip school just to play Marvel and Cvs2 (the only fighters thy have there)…
The shit is so weird…buttons are CONCAVE, thats 1, and secondarily, the stick literally feels as if you can GRIND it towards the plastic plexi that it is contained in.
If Funtasia did have enough money, to keep those arcades in tact…and if there WERE regulars…I would be there most of my free time…However edmonds/Lynnwood doesn’t have to good of a scene as is…There are many people here who actually play, however they aren’t to heavily into it…
If funtasia would man up…Shit would be poppin in Lynwood.
im so down for some cvs2. where to play is the question. anyone can call me to hook up and play games i usually go to lameworks almost everyday or we can even play at someones house I travel around now with my labtop and ps2 joystick so just call me up(206)375-6048!
