I get that a lot too. I’m just assuming it means that the host is already playing against someone by the time you decide to challenge him.

I mostly like to talk about VF so sorry if I’m annoying you if you don’t like to talk. But I know a lot so if you need help I can do that. 
theres no need for the BG. i started playing at 4 pm and had much fun 
VF5 & XBL. i’ve got 80% of SHUNS moves down. tomrrow i guesss ill learn the strategies. If you played the SHUN DI with the green winter hat, that was me im curious to know if you pick unranked or ranked, do you still fight a person who has chosen otherwise??? I hope so, just to make sure no created matches go un played
PS ~ tomorrow ill probably start with GOH too so ill atleast have a 2nd choice. this game is better than i thought it’d be.
I have the game. Its pretty fun online. I’m impressed with the netcode.

Just like all other Xbox/360 games, Ranked and Player matches are two different things.
If you select player match and no one is playing, you’ll just sit there, it can’t connect people playing/wanting to play Ranked games with you.
If you’re playing for rank/stats, just play nothing but ranked games.

someone tell me why i had a dream about vf3 last nite & it only had maybe 8-10 characters to pick from. This being the only vf game my brain has ever known, somehow my brain showed me a throwback version while i slept lol.
right now im at work mentally preparing how to get better with Goh H. I felt so lucky finding out yesterday that the character i want to use is hard as a bitch to use but i love using people others dont what, it toook me maybe 5 hrs to get used to his slow style and only a quarter of his grapples… things are looking good i guess.
PPL i played this morning were good. Looks like people are getting used to the game.
