I swear to god please be a VF:FS port or something.
While I’ve never been truly good at VF, I’ve always had a healthy respect for it and have bought the console versions available to me (VF4, Evo and VF5) and am hoping that this is a home port of FS. Heck, if they’re scared of losing arcade profits, then I they should go make it exclusive to the west for a few months before releasing the home version if Japan.
You know, I’ve never played VF before, aside from once in an airport arcade, but if they bring VF5:FS to consoles, I could totally see myself getting into it.
It’s looking REALLY likely right now. A credible rumor on VFDC said it is past planning stage- probably a year’s wait though.
Release date is tentatively Christmas time. Or February next year. Rumors withstanding.

VF5: Final Showdown (PS3)…lock it in for EVO2011 people. Maybe the 360 version for WCG in the future as well. Only a matter of time now…

Get me a ticket on that choo choo and I’ll go with you. Before I moved back
to the U.S. from Japan, I made the mistake of playing VF5R. Coming back and
then spinning vanilla in the tray was next to impossible.
If VF5FS drops I will pick it up for both systems, which is something I have never done before.
