It’s gonna be really interesting to see how the tiers solidify in the end. All it takes is one discovery to turn a tier list upside down.

Are you just talking about bad connection or that the ps3 doesn’t support online for this game?
VF5 for PS3 was based on the ver.B arcade and came out with no online features and was unpatchable.
The X360 version was based on ver.C arcade and came out over 6 months later with online features.
I’ve both though its kind of stupid how a short game not to have online. Is it worth getting on the 360? How many people play it on that. VF5 wasn’t that great, how much has changed? Also if your going to compare it say the small difference from SF4 and SSF4 just let me know that its not worth it.
The online scene for VF5 isn’t exactly thriving, but finding somebody to play isn’t too hard if you get on vfdc. If you didn’t like the game before, then you prolly won’t like it now… Although it sounds like you don’t have a lot of exp with the game, especially against knowledgeable players. I don’t say this as an insult, just that you should really give it a good shot by playing real people before you decide if it’s worth it to you or not. I’ll go ahead and answer your question: For you, its not worth it. Don’t bother. VF is still the same scrubby, shallow game it always has been and could never compare to DOA’s greatness. Leave the slow, boring, simplistic gameplay to us. We can’t handle DOA so we were forced to put our tails between our legs and come back here. You’re better than that Bittersweet. You don’t have to sink to the level of us commoners.

VF5 on PS3 could have been patched. AM2 employees have said in multiple interviews that it was possible to patch the game to version C and include online features. Ask any developer outside of AM2 if patching a game like VF5 is possible. AM2 just never did it. Only in one interview did they state that it was not possible. Every single other interview about PS3 VF5 after the 360 VF5 Online was announced stated that a patch was possible. AM2 could have released a standalone VF5 Online component, just like T5DRO on the PS3, through the PSN. They didn’t do it because they are a pathetic company.

AM2 also said that VF was not playable online but then a few months later made VF5 Online for the 360. They have zero credibility when it comes to VF and consoles. “No doubt.” LOL.
