Really? I mean, I still suck and know nothing of KoF, but outside of pumping QCF’s and waiting on a twitch to press P, I don’t see how you can effectively anti-air a hyper hop with Joe’s super. It isn’t instant by any means, but i don’t know how much invincibility it has.
As far as who’s better, meh, I trust the Japanese people more than myself since they’ve had the game for much longer than me.

He’ll hit it. That’s what a long time KOF player was telling me the other day. Most players never jump in on a super powered Joe. His super just eats you up. Mess around in training mode and get the character to hyper hop and see if joe hits it. I’m too lazy/dealing with billz. I hate bills.
I think everett is coming up later today with a couple other peeps. We’ll be on later playing GOW2 and Halo3 and other stupidness. You guys should play with us.
Japanese place Joe and Kyo on the same tier. I don’t know what their match up is head to head though. But I can see it being even. Joe has really strong ground game and his f + B can combo into any of his moves and is a long ass poke. Kyo has solid air to air and ground to ground stuff and his cr.B(x1-3) > s.B > df+C is gnarly. Lots of damage, can be easily poked into and safe if you don’t finish with df+C. I also read that his hcf + K (dash forward grab move) can go through lows, including ground fireballs.
4 different jumps is hard to get use too. But a trick that kof guy told me: for short hops hit jump and mash down immediately… Works really well once you get use to doing it. After a jump in you’re probably holding down anyway to combo in to cr.B > cr.A > combo, or etc. I know most characters can combo anything of cr.C too, cr.C > CD > Super/special move i think is something everyone can do.
And I think sagat has joe colored shorts… haha.
Oh nice I need to try that. If that is true then this makes Joe’s c.C even better since I feel like it has more horizontal range than your typical c.C
Also does joe have Sagat’s turbo color?
