Confused smiley says it all…what are you talking about? I was merely stating that if your friend is “EXTREMELY good”, then traveling an hour (1 fucking hour according to mapquest) to DC to play in the tourneys there shouldn’t be an issue.
But who said he hasen’t? He’s already played a good amount players from various areas, including top players… but thats kind of irrelevant, thats why I put the confused smiley. But its really no big deal.

I dont really care for the srk tourny scene becasue almost 90% of them are assholes and almost all of them suck anyway.

Why the hell does it matter what I do with my skills in a video game. In my area we all play tekken and cvs2 There is NO 3s players around here so we all just sit here and play those particular games. But im willing to bet in whatever game you play ill beat you easy. Even if i havent even played it b4. Worry about your skills and ill worry about mine

personally, i think there was a nicer way to go about it besides teh douche bag way he did.

Or start practicing slash… I think I might pick up zappa and or sol in slash. Sidewinder combos are pretty neat and fun and zappa still has all of the stuff that was good about him in the old games plus new good things (like the ability to make ghosts bounce along the ground).
I haven’t had time to play it much be I’m liking slash better. One of the big positive changes (in my opinion) is that the wall bounce is even more ridiculous than it was in the previous versions which makes for some pretty fun and interesting setups. For instance if you get hit by may’s pink whale you bounce so high that she has time to run up do close s, and jump cancel it into an air combo. In the other games I couldn’t ever do that, the best I could so was 2H, or 2D into dolphin.
Oh and I’ll probably be heading back to roanke on the 10th or 11th, so we should get together the following weekend.
I wouldn’t judge him from a couple of posts he makes on srk (or any), and I already said why he’s coming here, I invited him.

Yeah, i think you summed it up. When you get down here, we’ll probably play, hang out and generally have a good time. That’s what we do, we don’t talk down to anyone, everyone’s welcome to play. We are kinda old school like that. It’s a small community, so there isn’t room for egos or discouraging people from an already struggling scene.

i forgot to tell you this but dragon quest 8 actively goes from day to night and monsters get harder at night and people say different things. which i thought was a neat aspect.

Also maybe somebody can explain this to me. Why is it that I can do chun’s super everytime, but when I try to store it I can only do it like 10% of the time? It seems like you have to input it at just the right speed or something. It never seems to get stored when I do it really fast, or slow. It seems like you have to put it in sorta slow, but not too slow.
IN AE itsdifferent than st. So that you know. ST is WAY better than AE because AE is awkward hit boxes and some of the frame data is different
