In usual Jaton Style?, things changed and Sunday is no longer an option for me. I was supposed to work day shift, but a manager walked out so now I have to work night.
My schedule had me off Monday, but I’m not sure if that’s going to happen now or not. I really want to do games, but work is killing me.

KOF XII ships today, the 23rd according to gamestop.
They said it was coming the 28th until yesterday so I dunno what’s up with that :wonder:
oh, and I finally got my 360 stick btw 
I got an automated phone call from them today informing me that they should have the game Friday afternoon. So I don’t know what to think either. I guess I’ll try to pick it up after work.
Might be a wasted trip to gamestop, I can’t tell. I got the call too, so I was pretty happy thinking I would get to play some KoF XII this weekend. Then I see this http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=74187 . wtf. I wish they would get their shit together for this game, if it plays as well as it was released, I just wasted $60.
edit: that link used to point to a gamestop page that had the “pre order ships 07/27/09” in the add to cart box, now it says it “usually ships in 24 hrs” . So maybe we can get it today afterall.

Played it some vs my bro on PS3 version. Shen’s combos are HARD 
all the combos are hard! timing is weird coming from blazblue its real stiff. Jumps are always fucking me up i need to train myself to do short jumps and long jumps better. I suck at this game so far. My team is looking like ash, joe, kyo
I’m having a hard time getting this Kyo combo to work: jC, stand C, CD, QCF+K, rdp+B, dp+A (corner only)
Wait a second. I just thought of this. You can end with either qcf+K/rdp+B/dp+A. Not all three. People use too many notations. Haha. I was trying to do rdp+B after qcf+K. Whomp whomp.
But speaking of that, is qcf+K worth the reset? I guess just for mix ups. Reset into 2B > 5B > 3D/dp+P right? I’m still having trouble learning the pace of the game so I don’t know if you wanna go for knockdowns or resets or a balance of both. Every time I get knock down on people it seems they can mash A and hit my Ash doing 2A(x2) > flash kick. What am I doing wrong?@

Yeah I have the same problem. I need to learn to to short jumps. It seems like doing a backwards super jump works well. And yeah the inputs are super strict in this game. No mashing out DPs like in SFIV

After watching some match vids i finally understand how to move around in this game. The timing isn’t too awful to me anymore. I prefer this game over 4 definitely.
