Honestly, most tournaments are moving to PS3. Since Evo is all PS3. I’m not sure what C3’s deal is, other than I think C3 itself has a stock of 360s.

In other news, off to Nashville to play Tekken 6 and Blazblue. I plan on trying/practicing with Rachel, Arakune, Ragna, and Tager. Armor King, Bryan, and Lars in T6. I hope I get to play Jason Wilson (DreamTR) for a few games of SF4.

edit: or, since I’m probably getting a PS3 soon, does anyone know the deal on backwards compatibility? From what I’ve read, it sounds like the 60gb has the best ps2 emulation. I’ve played GG on a 80gb and it lagged like hell, never tried on a 60gb.
edit2: well I guess that wouldn’t matter cause I’d still need a PS2 stick to play PS2 games

Yeah, I’m definitely going. I will most likely hang out with the NC players after the tournament, so it’ll definitely be a late night getting back (unless I can crash at someone’s place on some good hospitality). That might be something to consider if you plan on joining the trip. Good luck on exams; try not to push yourself too hard into coming.
The new ps3s don’t have backwards compatibility. The lag might have been caused by the TV not the PS3. Were you playing on an HD TV?
