There’s a lot of local Tekken players coming to this that have told me they’re trying to get into 3rd Strike. Also a lot of people I know from UNCC play CvS2 regularly. I think if we can tap into these resources of Charlotte, we could end up with a LOT of new blood showing up to tournaments. I think Charlotte has tons of potential that has yet to be explored…the name of the game is “NEW BLOOD”.
yeah there are tons of undiscovered players out there, if charlotte had more events im sure our state would be overcrowded with talent…no my name isnt from ex3 unless you mean Ace the custom character and Shadow Giest…na its original ive had it for awhile if i won the lottery or got rich quick id sponser some future fighting game tournaments
There’s too many people I remember from Mindboggle Charlotte that I haven’t seen since.
I don’t think any of them even KNOW about SRK, so holding a Charlotte tournament is pretty much the only way to get in contact with them again.
Ace, you can come over this Thursday so we can get some practice in. I’ve got an exam that morning, but I’ll probably arrive home at around 12:30 - 2:00. Don’t even call, just come. If I’m not there when you get there, just have someone let you in and you can start practicing without me.

I ordered my Fliptop & Swap Magic from Mod Monster and NGBC, SS Tenka, and Vampire Chronicles from Play-Asia last Tuesday.
Well, I got my Mod Monster shipment the very next day, while I STILL haven’t recieved anything from Play-Asia.
As such, I will NEED people to bring copies of NGBC and Vampire Chronicles if I still haven’t recieved mine before Friday.
I also need someone to bring GG Slash and KoF XI. I know Blake usually brings the stuff for GG, but since he can’t make it I need ANYONE who can get/burn a copy to bring it.
I also still need someone willing to bring a DC and a burned copy of Marvel to run Marvel. We should have a CRT available for it at the start of the tournament, hopefully.
I can take care of CvS2 and ST. I only have one copy of 3S, so if someone can burn some PS2 copies of 3S or maybe CvS2 PLEASE let me know ASAP.
I know Majors and Roski are bringing TVs when they show up around 1 PM. If anyone can bring anymore (20" or less) CRTs please PM me.
