It seems my fear was right. After fighting a good Cody at a big tournament in Holland, I realized that it is really hard to anti air him properly. I used to think that it was easy, but the way Cody can change between early and late jumping HK and even just empty jump into c.lk->safe criminal upper, makes him hard to deal with. In the video between Champ and Momochi, you can see Champ go for a lot of trip guard anti airs instead of the usual b.HK, and you can see b.HK get stuffed a couple of times.
I’m not sure though, tbh, since Champ didn’t seem to know the matchup that well (He didn’t even know ex slide went through catastrophy)

Does anyone know the name of an extremely aggressive Sim in the Japanese arcades? I saw a long set many months ago, possibly even before AE came out on consoles, of a rushdown, frame trapping Dhalsim. It was extremely interesting to watch, and I’d like to see that player again.

Holy shit… flashback to how much of a nightmare the Cammy vs. Sim matchup used to be in SUPER (pre-AE/2012). This footage is almost 2 years old, but has some incredible maneuvers by Sabin. 1 of the best matches I’ve seen in a long while. Don’t chastise me for posting this, I just wanted to remind you guys how bad this USED to be.
