I watched a few of the matches. I think you have the right idea with trying to get at all costs but sometimes you have to block or bait Sim to make a mistake. Teleporting out of the corner or a point blank Ultra as I saw are not safe. You got caught because you were applying pressure to hard. I’d say when you get Sim in the corner stagger pressure, play some footsies since Dictator has strong normals, and try to avoid jumping. You should try to always be ready for the corner escape attempts.

Lost in winners against a Vega, I clearly don’t know the matchup.

I need help How would I block a sim ex fireball teleport mixup when at the frame the fireball hits dhalsim is a tiny white ball on one side and a blurry haze of nothing at the place hes about to appear?

he is on both sides and not really on the screen…
It depends, sometimes you have to block normally (if he delays the teleport) and sometimes you have to block as a crossup (when he teleports faster). It’s like Ibuki’s Kunai vortex, you have to pay a lot of attention, and, sometimes, guess.
There’s even a worse “vortex” that is when Dhalsim does an EX fireball and then do an air teleport. There’s a specific timming that you have to block normal (first fireball hit), crossup (second fireball hit) and normal again (jumping attack from teleport).
Yeah Dhalsim has some pretty bs mixups in the right situations. Im not gonna lie its very akin to teleport + assist in MVC3.
The difference is though Dhalsim gets very few of these oppurtunities for a bs mixup and when he does its usually because hes made a good read and deserves it. Not just random hit into OP mixup off anything.

yeah, your crouch tech was blown up. I would of maybe taken a throw instead if tech’ing. I’m not sure how good that trap is. I would tried stand tech’ing, focus back dash, and back tele. Some of the guys here may know better.
Hey guys, I tested a few of Sim’s set-ups vs. delayed wake-up. I did test the one’s in the video multiple times. I found it really hard to miss unless my timing was as tight as possible which was hard for me to hit consistently. I did not test everything. I was wondering if you guys have had problems with DWU.
at ~3:02:00 my Match against a local rose player starts.
I was quite confident against rose players actually… atleast before that match.
I’d appreciate any help for what my weaknesses are. I need to step it up

the commentators say I dont teleport too much. yet teleports are so unsafe, im afraid to just throw them out randomly when cornered.
Sometimes it’s good to IAT or MK slide under a jump in to go away from the corner, even if you get hit.
I’d say you need to AA more (she jumped at you lots of times).
And don’t try to punish reflects with teleports, she’ll recover in time. You need to punish her with s.HP. you tried to do that at 03:03:22 but you delayed it.
Basically you need to make Rose reflect your fireball and punish her for it, using s.HP and U2. You can also U2 her jumps.
