Where can I download the offical Contra NES music? I checked shadowhaxor.net and they don’t have it. I don’t really like the MIDI version at vgmusic. Thanks

You can DL NES Contra music from here: http://www.zophar.net/index.phtml If yuou don’t have the players needed to listen to the music the site has links to where you can DL said players.

I was wondering when you were going to come in here and do these. People are much more inclinded to check out individual song recs than entire albums, at least I think so. I’d do this myself if I knew how to do the whole YouSendIt thing. For single song recs, I just stick to Gal Hotel. Oh and much thanks for the MGS2 song rec! It was one of the songs missing from the MGS2 OST I DLed from Shadow’s place. I so wanted to put it on my custom jazz gaming collection album. Now I can!!:lovin:

Yeah, I got everything I wanted and THEN some. Getting the Maverick Hunter X (PSP) ST was the final piece I was looking for. Did you get the “Dwelling of Duels” album?
I’m sitting on over 18 gigs of gaming music alone, and thanks to you guys, there’s no end in sight. That’s a good thing, btw.
Until last night, this was the first time I’d ever heard of that particular FF album. If someone in the thread doesn’t upload it, I’m guessing it will be on Shadow’s site eventually. The name alone makes me covet this album. It just sounds so… sexy. 
The latest MM albums I got were the Mega Man Arrange Special Version albums. Got those from Atomic Planet today. Both them suckers are outta print too! “Dwelling of Duels”? I’ve never heard of that MM album before. News to me. I’ll have to see if I can find it somewhere. Atomic Planet has redone their site and the music section has also been overhauled. The Maverick Hunter X music hasn’t been reuploaded yet so I’m SOL for the time being.

I’ve got hundereds of VGM OSTS, arrange and remixed albums. My new comp is the best material thing to happen to me in a long time. :lovin: I went to SNESmusic.org and DL over 300 game OSTs, a lot from games I’ve heard, a lot from games I’ve never played. Some of the best games/music stayed in Japan. Shame, really. Well, that’s what the net is for! I’ve got 203 more GBs of space left after all the music I’ve DLed. Huge hardive space is really amazing. If I weren’t getting game music, it probably wouldn’t be used much at all. :lovin:
