‘Butterfly Spy’ by GCJ
Sources are ‘Sneakman’ and ‘Fly Like a Butterfly’. Felt like this was a nice mix of these 2 tracks from this game.

‘Groove of the Goddess’ by Jamphibious
Source tracks are ‘The Goddess Appears’ and ‘Princess Zelda’s Rescue’. Piano based with beat. Easily something to nod your head too. The first source is pretty easily identifiable and straight forward while the 2nd is used quick @ around 1:20
‘Timeless Adventure’ by Sam Dillard
Sources…uh…THERE’S A LOT. ‘Overworld’, ‘Above Ground’, ‘Overworld BGM’, 'Oceanworld Adventure (Main Theme), ‘Ocean’,‘Hyrule Field’, ‘Hyrule Field Main Theme’ and ‘The Sky’. I couldn’t find this track posted by itself. It’s the first one that plays in the album and in this video. I’d arguably call this best track on the album and I wrestle with it because it doesn’t completely stick to ALttP…in fact technically most of this track are technically influenced from other games in the series. This doesn’t stop this from being an epic orchestral melody of various adventuring tracks from Zelda’s history. There’s a lot in this track…enough so that among everything that’s in they seemed to not mention the nod to OoT’s Hyrule Field in it. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a few others in that were missed.
‘Dungeon Shuffle’ by bLiNd
Source is ‘Sanctuary Dungeon’. Couldn’t find this track on it’s own so I’m hoping this goes directly to it at 32:41. Blind usually is always doing good stuff and he doesn’t disappoint here. If you like synth with a beat with well placed sound effects from the game you’ll probably enjoy this.
‘Technicolor Thunderstorm’ by Hylian Lemon
Source is ‘Dark Mountain Forest’. If you like chiptunes then you’ll probably enjoy what Hylian Lemon did with this track.

‘Excuuuuuuuse Me, Princess’ by Proto Dome. Source is ‘Princess Zelda’s Rescue’. Wife heard this track in my car and hated it. If you don’t like vocoloid sounding stuff then it’s probably not going to be for you but I liked it. Also a bit chiptuney as well
‘Calamity’ by Fishy. Sourse is ‘Ganon’s Message’ and ‘Battle with Ganon’. MEETTTAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!! Sources are fairly straight forward with some flourishes here and there. Mostly wailing guitars and double kick petals.

“Air Man’s 9-bit Rock & Roll” by DDRKirby (ISQ)
Source is “Air Man Stage” and “Proto Man Whistle”. I’m having trouble hearing Proto Man’s whistle so far and I’m no my second listen of this track but holy hell man. I’m about to find out what else this person has done and see they’re on this level of quality as this remix. (Actually just as typing this I heard the whistle theme…pretty subtle starts @ 4:35). If you like Chip tunes with heavy beats then I highly recommend giving this a listen.

Koji was low key savage AF with that one!
That was a very informative video. Didn’t know some of Koji’s influences were Deep Purple and Herbie Hancock. Been listening to some of his 70s albums after finding this out. Koji has really good taste.
Heads up:
Sittingonclouds is gonna get a Splatoon 2 live ce put on on the website pretty soon this month for those that enjoy the music. Says the 29th.
There’s also seems to be a some chrono orchestral music from Trigger and Cross that is coming on sept 4th.
Also looks like the original Soul Calibur ost is about to get uploaded. A daytona usa anniversary cd got uploaded along with the new sam sho and a rip of the new CTR.
Something tells me this is just a taste of what Mick Gordon has in store for us!!
