Folks, this is the end. We are officially shutting down.

Here’s the recap.

The original host decided to pack up and close shop. They didn’t even give me a heads up until 2 days prior. This forced me to get the content moved to a different host who was 3x more expensive for what I wanted. The current state of virtual machines and dedicated servers are changing, meaning you’re getting less for more and storage VMs are going the way of the dodo.

Sadly this means I can no longer afford to keep the storage up and I don’t want to continue to move from host to host. That said, as of this week, Shadowhaxor.net will close its doors. I’ve already attempted to work with several people to see about taking control of the site, but it didn’t work out. The truth is thanks to other websites and streaming services, a site like this simply isn’t needed anymore. I know there are those who disagree and thank you. However, I started this site 11 years ago to house and share my favorite VGM. We enjoyed a nice run but all things come to an end. I appreciate everyone’s help and work through the years and I’m sorry that things are working out like this. Yet, I’d rather it come to this verus the site continuing to limp along. For those who know how to contact me, if you need anything or have a question, you know where to find me.

In two weeks, the URL will stop and you will no longer be able to access the server here. After that, the web server will be taken offline as well.
