Sonic CD: Temporal Duality, OCR’s 45th album is on the way soon

Remix of Bahram attack from Zone of Enders 2

From a Konami album

This song alone makes me want to play this game now.

Mick Gordon just released the second music teaser suite for Killer Instinct for those interested

goes for 10 minutes long…listening to it right now.

list of tracks in order
Orchid, main theme, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira, Sabrewulf, Spinal teaser

Edit: god just…just have the OST available. I want to buy like 3 of them.

Edit 2: LoZ: WWHD just got put up on Shadowhaxor’s site

I don’t normally lust after fictional women, but that new orchid it…GOTDAMN

She has to be constructed from an actual beauty.

Any time my health gets dangerously low in a video game this song typically plays in my head.

This baby should be out later today. http://vgmdb.net/album/42881

EDIT: It’s out: http://soniccd.ocremix.org/

^ downloading that right now!

The music for Super Mario 3D World seems good so far and music for A Link Between Worlds is especially excellent and quite nostalgic.

LoZ: ALBW music sampling

This version of File Select is ALMOST on par with Skyward Sword’s imo. It’s just a smidgen away from overtaking it.

When I was playing this game with headphones on and even now as I’m listening again to some of the tracks I’m having a hard time telling if some of the tracks actually used live instruments or not. I’m fairly certain most of them aren’t but in any case…these are pretty good samples if they aren’t real.

Haven’t gotten too far into Super Mario 3D World yet since I’m focusing mostly on ALBW but here’s a sampling of stuff I enjoyed from the first world

There’s also a track that plays when riding Plessie in one of the worlds that’s a rearrangement of Rainbow Cruise/Ride from 64 but I can’t seem to locate that currently.

Those Mario tracks are nice, I will have to pick that game up soon for my Wii U once my backlog drops down. But I tried the Sonic Lost World demo, and found this to be a pretty nice tune.

Speaking of Sonic Lost World, the OST is up: http://www.shadowhaxor.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2503

Love it

was this made by a fan or capcom? cause these themes were amazing

Still trying to listen through OCReMix’s Sonic CD album whenever I get the chances to do so. So far I’m really digging ā€˜Bass for a Better Tomorrow’.

Do fan made originals count Cause you know Genesiskeys is a CPS diety.

And his skill isn’t limited to cps, he got dem advance sounds too.

I was able to listen to OCR’s Sonic CD album a few times and at first I was put off by a good majority of it since I’m having this weird love/hate relationship with the way how some of the synth sounded in some of the tracks. This is probably the most beat driven album that OCR has probably put out in some time I think. Some of the tracks I felt were kind of off kilter which isn’t bad considering the fact that I think that the JP side of Sonic CD’s ost is kinda weird anyway but for some reason I prefer the JP mixes more than the US ones. Other than that some of the ways how some guys blended the different aspects of each track together into one was awesome. Here’s my personal standouts.

Initially, I wasn’t too taken with OCR’s Sonic CD: Temporal Duality, but after about 3 tracks in, it really grew on me. I love a lot of the tracks Sonichuman mentioned. Bass for a Better Tomorrow is REALLY incredible. That’s saying a lot because until I heard that remix, I couldn’t really recall the original tune. The arrangements of Palmtree Panic are freaking awesome and this is coming from someone that didn’t really care for the JP or US version of the original tracks at first. All in all, this is easily one of my favorite OCR albums. I’ve been listening to it at home and while I’m out and about since the day it was released.
