Video Game Music Thread Ver. Once More With FEELING!

Regular uploader is fine by me, set me up please.

It’s been a while, but I forgot to thank you. I did rep you way back when however. :china:

Also, I heard this track for the first time today from the F-Zero The Transmitter Soundtrack, and I can’t get enough of it. It’s the perfect highway driving theme. I’ve had the ST for a while, but I happened to hear it on my random selections on my mp3 player. I listened to this several times.

F-Zero: The Transmitter - Sand Ocean

For those of you that were looking for the tracks left out of the KOF 95/96/97 AST, they are available here at the bottom of the page!

[SENDSPACE] Extended Tracks

ENJOY!

EDIT: I forgot I put a password on it, lol.

PASSWORD: handcuffs

Yep, I remember. Thanks for the rep. 'ppreciate it, sir.

I could use a bit of assistance in locating a couple of pieces of game music. The songs in question are:

First, ā€œEyes on Meā€ by Angela Aki. Yes, Angela Aki. Her version absolutely OWNS Faye Wong’s, and I WANT IT. Problem is, most folks have the live version. I don’t want the live one, I want the studio one.

Second and possibly more difficult, a song that plays during the ending of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. See, after ā€œThe Little Birdā€ by Misia, a piano piece plays that sounds really awesome. I want it, but I don’t know the name of it. I can only assume that it was Sakuraba since he composed all the rest of the music for the game.

Anyone who could hook me up would be awesome.

EDIT: Alpha wants to know the password on that R4 stuff, it has one when you try and extract.

I believe I have it. I’d upload it to Stabby’s webspace, but it seems to be down right now.

Dude, YouSendIt, Sendspace, whatever you have to do. Both me and Infini want that song BAD.

Can you send me the live concert version? Assuming that the version that I sent wasn’t it?

Gimme a minute, I’ll know once it gets done. Thanks for the upload regardless.

EDIT: YOU OWN, PSYCHOSQUALL. I’ll get you the live one as soon as I can.

Ooo, much thanks! Stuff is hot! Most of the SaGa games have awesome music. I escpecially liked SaGA Frontier II’s beats but I haven’t been able to find them anywhere.

Man, you always make some dope recs.:china:

I didn’t know there were two versions of it. The version Faye Wong song is the one that Square paid her like $1 million to sing, right? Man, that song is awesome.

I was just thinking of giving this thread a bump at work today but it looks like I didn’t have to.

Random’s Mega Ran isn’t a free download after all. I went to check it out but they are charging $11.99 for it, which isn’t bad, since most gaming soundtracks cost more than that amount, but I’m still a bit bummed.

Yeah, the one by Angela Aki was originally done in a FF tribute concert, but is GODLY. DL that shit off PS’s link and be amazed.

She seriously owned Faye Wong there…that’s all I can say about it.

There is another vocalist that sung Eyes on Me, but her voice was so high-pitched and irritating, that I don’t ever want to listen to it again.

Thanks to all you guys for the awesome tracks!

So I mixed up my songs the other day. The instrumental piece in SO3 is before the credits (and I knew where to get it but forgot). The song I really wanted was from Tales of Symphonia. They play a piano piece after the whole anime closing, and it sounds damn cool. I still believe it was Sakuraba that did it though.

If you want the battle themes, download the ā€œFeldschlactā€ tracks.

http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/280/10 <- Everyone should listen to this (Dragon Quest 3 - Heavenly Flight Symphonic Suite). Its epic.

Also, the Lunar: Eternal Blue Complete OST is pretty nice stuff.

Thought this thread could use a bump.

does anyone know where I can find the music from dbz tenkaichi 2 or super dbz?

Great remix.

Here’s a good site for videogame soundtrack reviews.

It’s mostly RPGs, but there’s some other games that are reviewed too.
