Video Game Music Thread Ver. Once More With FEELING!

The Street Fighter: World Warrior competition on OCR is in the last round. I’m gonna have to check out some of the mixes tomorrow.

Nice, I didn’t even know that was going on.

Is there any chance I could have a link to that?

I grabbed the PSO2 music on Shadowhaxor’s site. So good. I’m glad the music is reminiscent of PSO1.

Elevator Action Deluxe, and Awesomenauts rips?

summons the powahs of Shadowhaxor

Hmm, actually I think EAD might be difficult… it’s downloadable only

Tekken Prime exclusive music should not be incognito. Namco rarely disappoint in the music department:

uses one of his continues on the thread

I just happened to look in my email and recieved a notification from TheMegas and went to their site

http://www.themegas.com/main/Entries/2012/6/8_History_Repeating__Blue_is_coming_June_18th!.html

Soo apparently they’re going to release 2 albums for MM3 and the first one will go up for Pre-order June 18th. If you preorder it you automatically get a digital download of it to listen to it.

With E3 done I’ll be able to more focus on keeping this thread alive.

are there are cvs2 remix tracks  ?

Not any good quality ones, but you could probably find some amateur ones on youtube.

I’ve been playing a lot of VF5 Final Showdown, and there are some great tracks in it.

So the new Kingdom Hearts Soundtrack dropped a while back, and this mix of Twister from TWEWY is just too damn good.

Another notable is Rinzler Recompiled.

Shit I almost went too far into the comments on that Rinzler Recompiled track. I"m sure if I went any further someone would have spoiled what happened in the game.

Yeah, I was about to link some of the final boss music till I thought of spoiling it for someone.

Just wanted to leave this one although it’s not VGM but it’s a cool video to represent snerds like us tho…

LoZ: ALttP ‘Light World Dungeon’ feat. Artificial Fear

Artificial Fear lent a bit of his trumpet skills to this guys rearrangement. Still guitar centric and heavy. Digging that acoustic in the beginning and end.

I only know of this one

Final Fantasy X ‘Battle in the Far North’ by The Griever

Source is ‘People of the North Pole’. A nice orchestral take on this theme.

Mega Man 2 ‘Laser Quick’ by TheGuitahHeroe

Source is ‘Quickman Stage’. The artist’s influence for this track was Proto-Raptor’s take on Chemical Plant Zone which was one of my favorite ReMix’s of that track. I can definitely hear the similarities in it. If enjoy chiptuney electro with a driving beat throughout it and Megaman then I’d give this a listen.

Retro City Rampage ‘Ignition’ by OA and Nutritious

Source is ‘Theme Music’. This game isn’t even out yet…but that didn’t stop them from having a contest from having remixes of the soundtrack. This one in particular took 3rd place in the competition. Full of wailing guitars and synth that keep the energy of the track high.

Capcom is releasing the soundtracks for Megaman 1-10 in a nice E-tank

It costs roughly $180 bucks though…ow
