Source track is ‘When Link First Wakes’/‘Sword Search’. They don’t really mention that in ReMix but it could technically be both of these tracks since ‘Link is Awake’ is just a slower and simplistic version of ‘Sword Search’. But anyway…I dig the simple beat that goes on throughout through this and love the piano. This track is pretty chill cept for the quotes from some guy’s lecture. I don’t think the words in anyway ruin it and actually imagining this track without it in my head would probably have made this a bit less interesting.

Source tracks are ‘Overworld’, ‘Title’, and ‘Town’. Haven’t heard anything from housethegrate in a loooooong time. He’s doing a far softer mix than I usually associate his name with but in either case it’s still pretty solid. The 3 different guitars work together pretty well and the mix often plays with the sources in a fairly straightforward manner.

Man TheMegas are taking awhile with that new album…I think we’ve only heard 1 track from it since they’ve started. I would like to have at least some update on the status of it.

Clash With Evil Personified. Without a shadow of a doubt thee best theme from the game. After the first 35 seconds, that’s when I knew it. Dirty theme. I gotta admit though, it doesn’t really fit Volgin’s character or the battle.

I just wish it were longer. It’s that damn good.

Source belongs to ‘Crateria: The Space Pirates Appear’. They slowed that down pretty well but the source is pretty recognizable through it. Crazy that they took this and turned it into 5 minutes.

My favorite gaming soundtrack is, ever since it’s release, Shatter.

You have to listen to the whole song on them, though. Where they start out at is in no way indicative of what they’ll be like in the middle or at their end.

I bought the mother fucking digital soundtrack, and I’d buy it again if they put it on a CD. I love this shit, I listen to it constantly.

I thought it couldn’t have been that similiar and that the person had just overlayed the track over top of Wiz Khalifa’s song to compare but when I actually clicked the link to hear the actual song…wow. I don’t know how I feel about it…I guess it’s cool so long as he gives credit where he got the sample from. This was just recently brought to my attention throughthis thread on Gaf.
