i’m very impressed by the music in the earthbound series not for how catchy it is but the music in all the mother games conveyed emotion so well

MIDI’s don’t usually do it for me. They can improve most NES arrangements, and some of the Genesis’ worst tunes, but as far as decent to god-tier Genesis-level, or better (Sonic, SoR,SNES, PS gen+, ect) MIDI arrangements usually sound worse than original. Even on NES, most of the Konami tunes sound better than most midi arrangements. Plus the arrangements usually have a note or two that throws it off.
Edit: I was gonna post some midi’s that I thought were good VS originals, but I must be having an issue, the instruments sound totally different than the last time I listened.
Protip: different cellphone hardware also have different instrument sets for MIDI, making some arrangements better or worse than on your PC.
Love this song, I love it even more when I can make it to this stage on my own on hard difficulty.

I’ve always liked “Be Fight”. I think that’s my fav track from the game.
Yeah, “Be Fight” was also a favorite of mine growing up.
