Most of it is telling the story from of FFVII from Cloud’s point of view and it’s kinda interesting. I’ve enjoyed the beats in the tracks I’ve listened too so far at least so I figured I’d at least make people aware of it incase they’d enjoy it.
VERY good soundtrack from a Wii game from Koei. A number of composers made music for this game including Manabu Namiki (Battle Garegga, Dondonpachi, KET-SU-I) and Hitsohi Sakimoto (OgreBattle)
Soundtrack of the 2001 PS2 game Tsugani: Atonement, composed by Yasunori Matsuda. Many of the tracks are reminiscent of those found in his work on Chrono Cross.
Gonna Keep it Simple
I made a Dubstep mix today just for replacing the music in Marvel 3.
I know alot of people in the community have enjoyed the combo videos that have featured this genre of music so I made a 59min mix for them to download and enjoy.
Check it out. Eminent vs. Dubstep Vol. 1 .
ProTip:
If your using a xbox360 and have 5.1 audio only get 2 channels while playing mp3’s…
Fix: Console Settings > Audio > Digital Output > Digital Stereo. :]
As always Reg thanks for the shares. I’m definetly gonna check out NIER when I come back from work today I keep hearing good things about the music score.
Someone who I subscribed to on my youtube channel favorited this guy called Mat Grahamon youtube and I like most of what I’ve heard from his channel so far. If you like metal I’d reccommend giving some of his mixes a listen to…really digging his take on the Forest Temple from OoT (which is the first one that plays when you click that link above). He actually has a good number of stuff from the Zelda series done in a metal style but has some other games that he touches on as well. I haven’t got a chance to listen to all of his stuff yet but from what I’ve listened to he seems to have a pretty good knack for doing the temple areas really well imo. Very nice and soft and approaches the source in a fairly straightforward manner with small variations here and there before really starting to play around with it @ 1:46.
The Revenge of Shinobi ‘Eternal Tears’ by DJ Mystix

Sources are khUE0jTnepo"]‘My Lover’ and [. Parting Forever is actually from Lost Odyssey and it doesn’t feel out of place in this mix since it’s a fairly short nod to it. This is actually my first time hearing My Lover from Revenge of Shinobi and I actually like the source lot…figures since it’s done by Mr. Koshiro. I dig the slow beat that this mix has going for it and the overall feel…makes it feel really sad in some ways. If this was put in a scene there would definitely be some guy on his knees looking up at the sky with rain falling down on his face.
Sonic Adventure ‘Peacemaker’ by halc

Source is . Definitely a bit of a departure from halc’s usual chiptuneyness but it’s definitely welcome. Definitely dig what he did with Tikal’s theme here giving it more of a rhythmic beat throughout and making it softer. Source is easily recognizable too.
Source is . Not completely familiar with the source but this is a pretty awesome orchestral piece and I feel it does the material pretty good justice. If you like FFXI’s music try giving it a listen.
Source is . UNCE UNCE UNCE UNCE! I was on the fence about this mix for a while and had to listen to it a few more times before deciding that I liked it. Done in trance electronica style with what I’m guessing is an xylophone? Also does some nice things with sound effects from the games in particular the buzz saw spin. In either case SWEET RAVE PARTY!
The Game Music Concert series is a beautiful series of arrangement albums. I converted all five albums from FLAC to MP3. These are free of errors like clicks and skips that plagued the later album releases from 3 onward of the MP3s floating around the net.
